Abstract:
A portable terminal includes: a reader that reads identification information of an RFID tag; a position information detector that detects position information; a direction information detector that detects direction information; a storage controller that performs acquisition of reading direction of the reader from direction information detected by the direction information detector, and storage of (i) position information detected at the time of the reading of the identification information and (ii) the acquired reading direction information as (i) reading position and (ii) reading direction, so as to be correlated with the identification information of the RFID tag; and a notification controller that acquires reading direction of the reader from direction information, and causes a notification unit to make notification of guide information indicating the stored reading position and the stored reading direction with respect to detected position information and the acquired reading direction.

Disclosed is a communication apparatus comprising: a communication section which performs communication in an ASK modulation format with an RFID tag; and a control section which sets a modulation degree of the ASK modulation of the communication section to a large degree when polling of the RFID tag is performed by the communication section and which sets the modulation degree to a small degree when response information is received from the RFID tag through the communication section.
Abstract:
In a center-takeoff-type steering apparatus for a vehicle, radiant heat from a heat source such as an engine is shut off reliably. The bracket is fixed to a central portion of a rack bar for unitary movement, the rack bar moving in the lateral direction in accordance with a steering operation of a steering wheel. Ball joint mechanisms are assembled to the bracket. The ball joint mechanisms rotatably support the inboard ends of the tie rods, swing tie rods in accordance with the movement of the rack bar to thereby steer the left and right front wheels. The heat insulator is integrally formed to have an upper plate portion and a lower plate portion facing each other, and fixed to the bracket so as to cover the ball joint mechanisms.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a microwave chemical reaction apparatus characterized by comprising a means for heating a reaction liquid, which is capable of irradiating microwaves while controlling the output power according to the temperature of the reaction liquid, together with a means for forcibly cooling the reaction liquid from the outside, and being capable of precisely controlling the reaction temperature. The microwave chemical reaction apparatus can control the reaction temperature precisely, for example, within ±1° C. of a predetermined temperature, and can be applied to fine chemical reactions. Further, since reactions proceed rapidly in such an apparatus, mass production can be achieved by a relatively small-sized reaction apparatus.
Abstract:
An electric power steering device for a vehicle includes an estimation mechanism estimating if there is a possibility that a backward electric current flows in a booster circuit toward a vehicle battery device, and a boosting controller stopping the boosting operation of the booster circuit to prevent a backward electric current from flowing in the booster circuit when it is estimated that there is a possibility that a backward electric current flows by the estimation mechanism. The estimation mechanism estimates that there is a possibility that a backward electric current flows in the booster circuit when the steering condition of a steering wheel is a returning condition or a steering-held condition. Otherwise, the estimation mechanism estimates if a backward electric current flows on the basis of input and output voltages of the booster circuit and information on the switching of a first boosting switching element. Thereby, overheat of the booster circuit can be prevented.
