摘要： A foot treadle for use in opening a sliding door of the type mounted for initial movement in three directional dimensions from its closed position comprises a lever having an axis of rotation. The lever has a leg that depends generally downwardly from the axis and an arm that extends generally laterally from the axis. A pedal is mounted to the arm distally from the axis of rotation. The lever is mounted to a door jamb of a sliding door with the lever leg closely adjacent a lower end of the door for pivotal movement about the lever axis of rotation in pushing and sliding engagement with the door lower end. Upon a person stepping upon the pedal the lever leg applies a force laterally and upwardly against the door lower end thereby urging the door laterally and upwardly out of sealed engagement with the door jamb and floor as the door lower end slides outwardly from the door jamb in sliding contact with the lever leg.

摘要： A strip curtain system having an elongated track adapted to be mounted over a doorway and having two spaced apart rails, a plurality of curtain strips and a plurality of hangers. Each curtain strip has a top end portion and a main body portion. The top end portion has at least one hole therethrough and a width less than the width of the main body portions. Each hanger has a male plate with at least one peg and a female plate with at least one hole sized to receive the male plate peg. A strip curtain may be assembled in the doorway by mounting the track thereabove, mounting the hangers to the top end portions of the strips, and sliding the hangers upon the track into abutment with one another with only the main bodies of adjacent strips suspended therefrom overlaying one another beneath the track.

摘要： A rope-operated recoil starter particularly suitable for use with lawn mowers having the starter rope handle mounted upon the mower handle. The starter structure is the Bendix type having an engine flywheel engagable gear axially translatable upon the rope pulley. A friction brake member associated with the gear produces the gear axial translation. Lost motion means automatically operate the friction brake for producing a delay in gear translation with respect to pulley rotation preventing inadvertent gear-flywheel engagement due to mower handle movement. Additionally, a positive lockout associated with the friction brake member prevents engagement of the gear with the flywheel except during rotation of the rope pulley in an engine cranking direction. The rope pulley is provided with a rope storage ledge for accommodating the extra rope necessary to permit the rope handle to be mounted on the mower handle, and to provide extra rope for cranking, if desired.
