    摘要: A low-power method for media access control on a semi-linear sensor network with multiple sensor nodes, includes: sensing a channel after waking up from a sleep mode by an arbitrary transmission sensor node that has obtained data; and generating a long preamble including a number of element preambles and sending to a destination sensor node after said channel sensing. This method further includes: sending said data to said destination sensor node after completion of transmission of said long preamble; and identifying duty cycle information of said destination sensor node after completion of transmission of said data and adjusting the number of said element preambles according to said duty cycle information.

    摘要: Provided are a method and apparatus for controlling a shared memory, and a method of accessing the shared memory. The apparatus includes a processing unit configured to process an application program, a user program unit configured to execute a program written by a user based on the application program of the processing unit, a shared memory unit connected to each of the processing unit and the user program unit through a system bus and configured to store data interchanged between the processing unit and the user program unit, and a control unit configured to relay a control signal indicating whether the system bus, by which the data is interchanged between the processing unit and the user program unit, is occupied, and control connection of each of the processing unit and the user program unit with the system bus in response to the control signal. In the apparatus, the processing unit and the user program unit can easily interchange a large amount of messages through the shared memory unit having an abundant memory space.

    摘要: An apparatus for detecting specific human body parts in an image includes: a texture energy analysis unit for analyzing energy distribution in the image and generating texture energy maps; a candidate region-of-interest extraction unit for extracting candidate regions-of-interest for the specific body parts on a given texture energy map by applying a threshold to the given texture energy map, the given texture energy map being selected among the texture energy maps; a candidate mask application unit for performing convolution between candidate masks for the specific body parts and the candidate regions-of-interest and selecting candidate body parts based on results of the convolution; and a body part detection unit for detecting the specific body parts on the image by performing verification on the candidate body parts. The verification is performed by using machine-learning models for the specific body parts.

    摘要: Provided are a gateway apparatus for providing multi-channel functionality in a sensor network, and a method and an apparatus for interfacing using serial peripheral interface (SPI) in the gateway apparatus. The SPI interfacing apparatus is connected to a plurality of wireless transmit/receive units, and receives a data frame via an SPI to output the data frame to a wireless transmit/receive unit, based on information regarding selection of the wireless transmit/receive unit, wherein the information is contained in the data frame. Then, the SPI interfacing unit receives data frames from the wireless transmit/receive units to output the data frames in a predetermined order via an SPI. Thus, the wireless transmit/receive units for providing multi-channel functionality can interface a signal processing unit by using an SPI method.
