摘要： A variable speed motor is disclosed. The variable speed motor includes: a main winding including first and second main windings, and an auxiliary winding including first and second auxiliary windings, wherein the main winding and the auxiliary winding are wound on a stator to form a plurality of poles; and a plurality of relays for performing a switching operation between serial/parallel connections of the first and second main windings or the first and second auxiliary windings. The variable speed motor includes: a stator on which a 4-pole winding and a 12-pole winding are wound; a plurality of tap windings connected in series to a 4-pole main winding forming 4 poles, for extending a variable range of rotation speed of the motor during a 4-pole operation mode; and a phase control circuit for varying rotation speed of the motor by controlling a phase of an input power-supply signal during a 12-pole operation mode. Therefore, the variable speed motor greatly extends the range of a variable speed of the motor, and does not require an additional drive unit for varying the motor speed, such that production costs are greatly reduced, and electromagnetic vibration noise caused by a low-speed control mode of the motor is also greatly reduced. Rotation speed of the motor is controlled by a phase control operation and a winding switching operation, such that the variable speed motor effectively controls the motor speed, and greatly reduces power consumption.

摘要： A drum type washing machine and a method of detecting laundry weight thereof that is capable of calculating a ratio of input voltage applied to a motor through phase control until the motor reaches a determined number of rotations to accurately detect the weight of laundry or the amount of eccentricity of the laundry received in a drum connected to the motor. The drum type washing machine comprises a motor for rotating a drum, and a control unit for controlling the number of rotations of the motor depending upon a washing operation and calculating a ratio of input voltage applied to the motor, i.e., a modified voltage value, to determine the weight of laundry received in the drum. The weight of laundry received in the drum is accurately detected in steps, and therefore, water consumption is reduced, and a uniform washing operation is performed.

摘要： An outer-rotor variable-speed motor, to which single-phase AC power is applied and on which a rotor is provided outside a stator, comprises first and second main windings provided on a stator of the motor to form a plurality of poles, a frequency detector for detecting the frequency of AC power applied to the motor, and a relay for connecting the first and second main windings in series if the detected frequency is 60 Hz and connecting the first and second main windings in parallel if the detected frequency is 50 Hz. The speed of the motor is kept constant even when power at different frequencies is applied, so that it is possible to reduce the manufacturing cost of the motor and reduce the power consumption, and also to reduce electromagnetic noise from the motor.

The system of the present invention comprises a printing head for injecting a photocuring adhesive material to a region, corresponding to the sectional data, on the powder material supplied to the prototyping table; a curing device for photocuring at least the region on which the adhesive material is injected; and a control computer for controlling the printing head and the curing device such that the adhesive material is injected and cured, respectively, on the region corresponding to the divided section data of the three-dimensional prototype. According to the present invention, a period of time required in curing a three-dimensional prototype can be remarkably shortened and the three-dimensional prototype with its superior solidity can be obtained.

摘要： The present invention relates to a pneumatic servo valve, and more particularly, to a pneumatic servo valve, wherein displacement of a spool due to flow force of a fluid is prevented by firmly holding the spool just after position control for the spool is completed, thereby ensuring the stability of a valve system, and an encoder is employed as a spool position detecting means. The pneumatic servo valve comprises a hollow main body with a supply port, a discharge port and an exhaust port; a sleeve which is contained in a hollow portion of the main body and has slots communicating with the respective ports, and a chamber therein; a spool axially slidably installed within the chamber to control the flow of a fluid into the respective ports according to the position thereof; a torque motor installed at one side of the main body to control the position of the spool in response to electrical signals; and a spool position detecting means for compensating positional errors by receiving the fedback position of the spool. The pneumatic servo valve further comprises a spool holding means including a ball nut 60 which is engaged, via a ball, with a helical groove formed on a connection rod of the spool connected to the torque motor and rotates when the spool moves linearly, and an electronic brake for holding the ball nut not to rotate when the spool is stopped.
