摘要: A light source apparatus includes light sources emitting first and second polarized light, an optical element transmitting one of the polarized light and reflecting the other, a polarization rotator generating polarization rotated light from the first polarized light, a wavelength convertor converting the second polarized light into wavelength converted light, and a controller. The optical element generates emitted light by combining the wavelength converted light and polarization rotated light. The controller acquires respective deterioration amounts of the light sources, and controls, based on respective changes in light emission amounts from the light sources acquired from the deterioration amounts, the light emission amount from at least one of the light sources for making different respective change amounts of the light emission amounts from the light sources, or changing a ratio between respective light emission amounts from the light sources.

摘要: An image projection apparatus includes a light modulation element, a pixel shift unit that includes an optical element configured to shift an optical path of light from a pixel in the light modulation element and to shift a position on a projection surface of projected pixel formed on the projection surface by a projection optical system with the light, and an attachment portion to which the pixel shift unit is attached. The optical element shifts the optical path by a shift amount in accordance with an attachment angle of the pixel shift unit relative to a plane orthogonal to an optical axis from the light modulation element to the projection optical system. The attachment portion is configured to select a plurality of angles for the attachment angle.

摘要: A photoacoustic apparatus includes a light source, a probe including a reception element that receives a photoacoustic wave generated by a subject in response to being illuminated with light and output a time-series reception signal, a signal data acquisition unit that generates reception signal data based on the time-series reception signal and stores the resultant data, a light fluence acquisition unit that acquires a light fluence at a position of interest in the subject, and an information acquisition unit that acquires subject information based on the stored reception signal data, wherein in a case where the light fluence at the position of interest is smaller than a threshold value, the signal data acquisition unit reduces the amount of data for a part of the time-series reception signal that corresponds to the position of interest.
