The X-ray generating tube includes an electron gun including an electron emitting portion, a plurality of grid electrodes, and an insulating support member that supports the plurality of grid electrodes. The electron gun includes a conductive section that hides the insulating support member to prevent the insulating support member from being directly viewed from an electron through path of electrons emitted from the electron emitting portion and passing through the grid electrodes.

    摘要: Provided is a high-output X-ray generation tube in which thermal damage to a target is reduced. The X-ray generation tube includes a target, an electron source, and a grid electrode having multiple electron passage apertures disposed between the target and the electron source. A source-side electron beam on the electron source side with respect to the grid electrode has a current density distribution, and the grid electrode has an aperture ratio distribution so that a region of the source-side electron beam in which a current density is largest is aligned with a region of the grid electrode in which an aperture ratio is smallest.

The X-ray generating tube includes a transmission target having a first surface configured to be irradiated with an electron beam; an electron emitting source configured to irradiate the transmission target with the electron beam obliquely; and a tubular forward shield member to define an extraction angle of an extracted X-ray beam. The forward shield member is disposed such that a central axis of the electron beam and a central axis of the X-ray beam whose extraction angle is defined are located at the same side with respect to a virtual normal plane perpendicular to the surface and a projection of the central axis of the electron beam to the surface.
