An angle of the first direction with respect to the sheet conveyance direction is greater than an angle of the second direction with respect to the sheet conveyance direction, and the second oblique-feed unit is disposed at a position closer to the abutment surface than the first oblique-feed unit in the width direction.

摘要： A sheet conveyance device includes a conveyance unit, a skew conveyance unit, and an abutment unit. The conveyance unit conveys a sheet in a conveyance direction. The skew conveyance unit conveys the sheet in a first direction inclined to the conveyance direction. The skew conveyance unit is rotatable about an axial line orthogonal to the first direction. The abutment unit on which a side end portion of the sheet in a width direction of the sheet orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the sheet conveyed by the skew conveyance unit abuts. The abutment unit includes an abutment member extending in the conveyance direction and having a first surface, and a sheet member in a sheet form, wherein the sheet member is detachably attached to the first surface. The conveyed sheet is conveyed by the skew conveyance unit with the side end portion of the sheet abutting on the sheet member.

摘要： A sheet conveying apparatus according to the present invention includes: a pair of conveying rollers 13 which nips and conveys a sheet; a reference member 31 which determines the position of a side edge of the sheet along the sheet conveyance direction; a plurality of pairs of skew feeding correcting rollers 32 which nip and convey the sheet conveyed by the pair of conveying rollers 13 and draw the side edge of the sheet to the reference member 31; and a switching unit which switches the pair of conveying rollers 13 and the pairs of skew feeding correcting rollers 32 between a state of nipping the sheet and a state of nip releasing the sheet, the switching unit releasing the nip of the sheet by the pair of conveying rollers 13 after the conveyed sheet is nipped by at least two of the pairs of skew feeding correcting rollers 32.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an image forming portion, a reverse roller pair, a revering motor. A controller controls rotation of the reverse motor in a first feeding mode for the sheet with a first length and in a second feeding mode for the sheet with a second length shorter than the first length. The controller executes a first acceleration control in which the reverse motor rotating in the first rotational direction is accelerated from a predetermined speed to a first target speed faster than the predetermined speed after a rear end of the sheet passes through the image forming portion in the first feeding mode, and said controller executes a second acceleration control in which the reverse motor rotating in the first rotational direction is accelerated to a second target speed slower than the first target speed after the rear end of the sheet passes through the image forming portion in the second feeding mode.
