A portable electronic device includes: a sensor unit configured to measure a condition of a user and/or an environment where the user is located; an action pattern storage unit configured to store therein an action pattern; and a control unit configured to control the sensor unit, wherein the control unit controls, with reference to the action pattern storage unit, an operation state of the sensor unit such that the operation state is adapted to an action state of the user.

A portable electronic device includes: a display unit; an action storage unit configured to store therein an action history of a user; and a control unit configured to control the display unit, wherein the display unit is configured to be capable of displaying a first display state having a low power consumption and a low-definition display content and a second display state having a high power consumption and a high-definition display content relatively with respect to each other, and the control unit has a display control unit configured to control, with reference to the action history of the user, driving of the first display state and the second display state such that the display state is adapted to an action state of the user.
Abstract:
An information processing device includes a state determination unit. The state determination unit switches between first execution processing that executes a function of the information processing device by way of an operating system, and second execution processing that stops operation of the operating system during operation, and executes a specific function of the information processing device by way of a specific program without turning ON a power source of the information processing device. The second execution processing is not performed during execution of the first execution processing.
