摘要: A moving state determining device includes a receiver receiving radiowaves from a positioning satellite and a processor. The processor determines a moving state of a satellite radiowave receiving unit based on a motion state measured by a sensor which measures a motion state, and performs a positioning operation based on information received by the receiver to obtain a current position and an error range thereof. In determining the moving state, a positioning operation result obtained when the error range satisfies a predetermined accuracy standard can be used. The error range is calculated based on a positioning accuracy and a deviation of the obtained current position and a predicted position calculated in accordance with the moving state. The positioning accuracy is obtained by combining each position of positioning satellites from which radiowaves are received and each receiving state of the radiowaves.

摘要: A satellite radiowave receiving device includes a receiver and a processor. The receiver acquires and receives radiowaves from a positioning satellite. The processor performing a positioning operation based on the radiowaves received by the receiver to obtain a current position of the satellite radiowave receiving device. The processor causes the receiver to stop an acquiring operation of radiowaves from a new positioning satellite under a predetermined condition while radiowaves are being acquired from a required number of positioning satellite for the positioning operation. If an error range of the obtained current position no longer satisfies a predetermined accuracy standard during a stop of the acquiring operation, the processor causes the receiver to resume the acquiring operation.

摘要: A magnetic field measuring apparatus includes a first processor, a second processor, a motion sensor and a magnetic field sensor. The second processor has higher processing capability than the first processor. The first processor makes the second processor perform certain processing. When it is determined that the state of motion measured by the motion sensor is at a predetermined level or more, the second processor performs a magnetic field correction setting operation as one of the certain processing. The magnetic field correction setting operation involves retrieving measurement values of magnetic field from the magnetic field sensor which are measured at different postures according to a change of the state of motion, and determining an offset correction value for the geomagnetic field based on the measurement values.
