The present application discloses a method and a device for communicating between user equipment and control thereof, in which user equipment running on a working carrier without network coverage can obtain resource configuration information of the working carrier via a network-configured carrier. In this way communication between user equipment is achieved via the working carrier, making resource configuration more flexible. A method for communicating between user equipment provided by the present application comprises: on determining user equipment is off-network on a working carrier, determining a configured carrier; on determining the configured carrier is on-network and the configured carrier is configured with resource configuration information of the working carrier, obtaining resource configuration information of the working carrier; and communicating, according to the resource configuration information, between the user equipment running on the working carrier.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to DRX technology and disclosed are a method and device for computing an activation time, which are used for solving the problem that a UE cannot enter an active state at an accurate time when using an extended DRX cycle. The method is: a network side notifying a UE of a serial number of a current SFN cycle in an extended DRX cycle, and the UE computing an activation time of the UE by combining the length of a preset extended DRX cycle in accordance with the serial number. In this way, when the extended DRX cycle is greater than the SFN cycle, the UE can still compute a correct paging time and/or a time of receiving service data, thereby entering the active state at an accurate time, effectively avoiding the situation where paging messages or service data are lost due to computation errors of the UE, then guaranteeing the service QoS of the UE and improving the service performance of the system.

The embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of wireless communications technology, and specifically relate to a method and device for host configuration, used for solving the problem, in the prior art, of an eNB being unable to configure a host for a UE when establishing about corresponding to a certain resource identifier for the UE. The method of the embodiments of the present invention comprises: a network side equipment determining, according to a first correlation between a resource parameter configuration identifier and resource parameter configuration information, the resource parameter configuration information corresponding to the resource parameter configuration identifier for a user equipment; configuring a host for said user equipment according to the determined resource parameter configuration information. The network side equipment of the embodiments of the present invention can know, when establishing a host corresponding to a resource identifier, the resource parameter configuration corresponding to the resource identifier and thus configure for the UE a host corresponding to the resource identifier, improving system performance.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of wireless communications, and specifically relate to a method, system and device for switching, for use in solving the problem in the prior art of the risk of communication interruption when a user equipment (UE) is switching due to greatly increased frequency and number of times of switching by the UE in an E-UTRAN network architecture. The method of the embodiments of the present invention comprises: a UE receives a DRB reconfiguration message from a macro base station; and the UE keeps a PDCP layer corresponding to all of the DRBs of a control side and of a user side at the macro base station, and switches other layers corresponding to some or all of the DRBs of the user side except the PDCP layer onto at least one base station. Because the embodiments of the present invention reduce the number of times of control side switching by the UE, in the case of increased frequency and number of times of switching by the UE in the E-UTRAN network architecture, the risk of communication interruption is reduced when the UE is switching.

The present invention discloses a method for transmitting and receiving a paging message and an associated apparatus used for resolving the issue of an NB-IoT system in which only a main carrier, and not a secondary carrier, can transmit paging messages, resulting in a limited overall paging capacity for the system and inadequate services provided to NB-IoT terminals when there is a large number of such terminals. The method comprises: a terminal receiving system information transmitted from a base station, wherein the system information carries information of a carrier permitted to receive a paging message; the terminal determining, according to information of the carrier permitted to receive the paging message and a predetermined rule, a paging carrier, which is a main carrier or a secondary carrier of the base station; and the terminal receiving a paging message transmitted from the base station and carrier in the paging carrier.

A method for transmitting downlink data, a base station and a user equipment are provided. The method includes: generating, by a base station, on reception of downlink traffic data sent by a core network to a user equipment in a light connection state, a triggering message based on an identifier of the user equipment in the light connection state; and controlling, based on the triggering message, the user equipment in the LC state to recover to a connection state. Furthermore, the downlink traffic data may be sent to the user equipment which has been restored to the connection state.

Disclosed are a method and device for processing the interruption of a group communication service, which are used for adjusting a continuity parameter of a group communication service after the interruption of the group communication service occurs, so as to ensure the continuity of a subsequent group communication service. The method for processing the interruption of a group communication service provided in the embodiments of the present application comprises: receiving, by a network side, recording information about the continuity of a group communication service which is reported by at least one user equipment (UE), wherein the recording information about the continuity of the group communication service comprises recording information about the continuity of the group communication service during the interruption of the group communication service in the case where the UE is switched between a unicast transmission manner and a multicast transmission manner or the UE is switched between cells; and according to the recording information about the continuity of the group communication service which is reported by at least one UE, judging, by the network side, whether a continuity parameter of the group communication service is adjusted.

Disclosed are a paging method, apparatus, and system, used for solving the problems in the prior art of long time lapse and low paging reception reliability in terminals when using an extended DRX cycle to carry out monitoring. The method in the embodiments of this invention comprises: a terminal performs paging reception in an extended paging location within each extended paging cycle; and within at least one extended paging cycle, the terminal performs paging retransmission reception in at least one specific paging location other than the extended paging location. As the terminal performs paging reception at least twice within at least one extended paging cycle, the embodiments of the present invention may improve terminal power-saving and also ensure the time lapse and reliability of paging reception, thereby achieving the aims of assuring user experience and improving system performance.
