Abstract: The present invention relates to a new transcript referred to here as INT6-5a, which is an isoform of the human transcript, known in the literature, INT6 full length (INT6-FL) encoded by the gene EIF3E (gene ID 3646, mRNA NM_001568.2), the use thereof in cellular reprogramming methods for the production of induced pluripotent stem cells or somatic stem cells, the cells obtained from such methods, and use thereof.
