Abstract: The present embodiments provide a separator, a process for preparing the same, a lithium ion secondary battery, a battery module, a battery pack and an apparatus. The separator provided by the present application comprises a porous base film and a functional coating disposed on at least one surface of the porous base film, wherein the functional coating comprises polyimide nanosheets, and the polyimide nanosheets are stacked irregularly to form a lamellar loose structure; and a thickness ratio of the functional coating to the porous base film is from 0.1 to 1.0. The present application also provides a process for preparing the separator, and a lithium ion secondary battery and an apparatus comprising the separator.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a battery, comprising a positive electrode plate, a separator and a negative electrode plate, wherein the positive electrode plate comprises a positive electrode current collector and at least two layers of positive active materials on at least one surface of the positive electrode current collector in which the underlying positive active material layer in contact with the positive electrode current collector comprises a first positive active material, a first polymer material, and a first conductive material and in which the upper positive active material layer comprises a second positive active material, a second polymer material, and a second conductive material and the first polymer material comprises an oil-dispersible polymer material having a solubility in NMP at 130° C. for 5 minutes, which is 30% or less of the solubility of PVDF under the same conditions. The battery exhibits good safety performance and improved electrical performance.

Abstract: The present application provides a current collector, electrode plate, cell, battery, device, manufacturing method, and apparatus. The current collector includes a conductive layer and a support layer, wherein the conducive layer is provided on a surface of the support layer, and the support layer includes an insulating base and a support structure embedded in the insulating base to enhance strength of the support layer, which not only increases an overall strength of the current collector and can improve the problem of tape breakage during processing, but also allows strength of the support layer to be close to strength of the conductive layer, narrowing the gap in structural strength between the support layer and the conductive layer, and reducing the difference in deformation between the conductive layer and the support layer during processing, so that it is conducive to improving processing performance of the current collector.

Abstract: The present application provides a battery cell, a battery, and an electrical apparatus. The battery cell may comprise a case, a cover plate, and a pressure relief apparatus. The case may have an opening; the cover plate may cover the opening, and the cover plate may be welded with the case to form a welding seam; the pressure relief apparatus may be disposed on the cover plate, the pressure relief apparatus may be provided with a weak region, the weak region may be configured to be broken to release internal pressure when the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, and the minimum distance between the edge of the weak region and the welding seam may be greater than or equal to 3 mm.
