A polymer composition having excellent processability may be prepared by recycling a secondary battery separator. The polymer composition may be molded to manufacture an environmentally friendly small to medium-sized container, such as a small to medium-sized container, having excellent flexural strength, elongation, impact strength, and environmental stress crack resistance.

The electrode assembly includes a plurality of electrode plates and a separator including a first separator layer and a second separator layer. The plurality of electrode plates include a first outermost electrode plate, a second outermost electrode plate, a first second-to-outermost electrode plate, and a second second-to-outermost electrode plate. The first outermost electrode plate and the second outermost electrode plate are located on two opposite sides of the plurality of electrode plates in the first direction. The first outermost electrode plate and the first second-to-outermost electrode plate are located on two opposite sides of the first separator layer. The second outermost electrode plate and the second second-to-outermost electrode plate are located on two opposite sides of the second separator layer. The pocket includes a first sidewall extending in the first direction.

摘要: Provided is a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery separator capable of satisfactorily maintaining ion permeability even after being compressed. The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery separator includes a polyolefin porous film in which an average of inclination angles of major axes of voids extracted from a two-dimensional image of a cross section of the polyolefin porous film is not less than 7.0, the inclination angles being calculated from respective circumscribed rectangles of the voids, the two-dimensional image being obtained by use of SEM, and the cross section being formed by cutting the polyolefin porous film (i) along a straight line that passes a center of a surface of the polyolefin porous film and is parallel to an MD or a TD and (ii) in a direction perpendicular to the surface.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide, for example, a polyethylene powder that can produce a shaped article excellent in balance between mechanical strength and a rate of thermal shrinkage even when shaped at a high speed. Provided is a polyethylene powder having intrinsic viscosity IV of 1.5 dL/g or more and 15.0 dL/g or less measured in accordance with ISO1628-3 (2010), an amorphous moiety thickness of 5.3 nm or larger and 12.0 nm or smaller, and a crystallite size of 13.9 nm or larger and 18.0 nm or smaller obtained by a reflection method of X-ray diffraction.

The secondary battery includes a positive electrode sheet, a negative electrode sheet, a separator disposed between the positive electrode sheet and the negative electrode sheet, and an electrolyte solution, wherein the separator includes a substrate and an inorganic and/or organic particle layer disposed on at least one surface of the substrate, and the separator further includes an acid scavenging additive located among the inorganic and/or organic particles of the inorganic and/or organic particle layer or located in a form of a separate layer between the substrate and the inorganic and/or organic particle layer, wherein the maximum dissolution amount of the acid scavenging additive in the electrolyte solution at 25° C. is less than 1% by mass relative to the mass of the electrolyte solution.

摘要: Rechargeable battery cells and methods for extreme fast charging are disclosed. For example, such a rechargeable battery cell might be chargeable to at least 70% of usable capacity within 15 minutes. Such a rechargeable battery cell may include an anode having at least one surface with a reversible areal capacity, after formation, up to 8.0 mAh/cm2, and a cathode having at least one surface with a reversible areal capacity, after formation, up to 6 mAh/cm2, wherein a ratio of areal capacity of the at least one surface of the anode to the at least one surface of the cathode is between 1.15 to 1.45. Methods of charging rechargeable battery cells disclosed herein under conditions sufficient to enable charging of at least 70% of usable capacity to the rechargeable battery cell within 15 minutes, are also disclosed.
