Abstract: A box body for a battery, a battery, a power consumption apparatus, a method and apparatus for preparing the battery are provided in the present application, which can improve the mounting stability of the battery in the power consumption apparatus. The box body includes: a first partial box body, provided with a first hole; a mounting structural member, located in the box body and arranged corresponding to the first hole, where the mounting structural member is used for mounting the box body to a power consumption apparatus through the first hole; where an edge of the first hole is provided with a rigid structural member, and the rigid structural member abuts against the mounting structural member to prevent the mounting structural member from contacting the first partial box body.
