Abstract: This application relates to an electrode assembly, a battery cell, a battery, and an electric apparatus. The electrode assembly includes a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate arranged alternately. At least one pair of adjacent positive electrode plate and negative electrode plate is provided with meshing parts on side surfaces facing each other. The meshing part located on the positive electrode plate and the meshing part located on the corresponding negative electrode plate are configured to be able to engage with each other, to restrict freedom of the adjacent positive electrode plate and negative electrode plate. The meshing part located on the positive electrode plate and the meshing part located on the negative electrode plate are configured to extend in a preset direction.
