    Abstract: The application provides a method, apparatus, device and medium for detecting an internal short-circuit fault of a battery cell. The method includes obtaining electrical signal values for each of m battery cells of a battery pack, when it is in a preset condition including that a current detection is an nth detection; performing following steps for a target battery cell: calculating a first parameter of the target battery cell using the electrical signal values of the target battery cell, which characterizes a degree of fluctuation of the electrical signal values; calculating a second parameter that characterizes a degree of dispersion between the first parameter of the target battery cell and first parameters of other battery cells; and determining that an internal short-circuit fault occurs in the target battery cell, under a condition that the second parameter is greater than a threshold.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an explosion-proof valve, a battery pack, and an apparatus. The explosion-proof valve includes a flame arresting member and an air permeable membrane. The flame arresting member is configured to connect to a housing of a battery pack, the air permeable membrane is fastened to the flame arresting member, and the battery pack is capable of exchanging gas with the outside through the flame arresting member and the air permeable membrane in sequence. During use of the explosion-proof valve of this application in the battery pack of this application, when thermal runaway occurs inside the housing of the battery pack, pressure inside the housing is suddenly increased, and as a result, the battery pack releases the pressure through the explosion-proof valve, and high-temperature runaway gas impacts and melts the air permeable membrane, forming a smooth air flow channel.

    Abstract: Provided are an electrode plate and a secondary battery having the same. The electrode plate comprises a current collector and an active material layer, wherein the current collector comprises a main body portion and tabs, the active material layer is coated on the surface of the main body portion, and the tabs extend from one end of the main body portion along the first direction; a first insulating portion is formed on the end face of the main body portion that is provided with the tabs, and a second insulating portion different from the first insulating portion is formed on the end faces of the main body portion that are not provided with the tabs. The electrode plate of the present application has a good end-face insulation protection and can improve the safety performance of the secondary battery.
