Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a box of a battery. The box includes: an electrical chamber configured to accommodate a plurality of battery cells, a battery cell including a pressure relief mechanism, and the pressure relief mechanism being configured to be actuated when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, to relieve the internal pressure; a thermal management component configured to accommodate a fluid to adjust the temperature of the battery cell; and a collection chamber configured to collect emissions discharged from the battery cell when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, where the electrical chamber and the collection chamber are disposed on both sides of the thermal management component, a wall of the collection chamber is provided with a first pressure relief zone, and the first pressure relief zone is configured to relieve the emissions in the collection chamber.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application are provided with a box of a battery, a battery, a power consumption device, and a method and device for producing a battery. The box of the battery includes: an electrical chamber; a thermal management component; and a collection chamber, configured to collect emissions from the battery cell provided with the pressure relief mechanism when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated; wherein the thermal management component is configured to isolate the electrical chamber from the collection chamber, a pressure relief region is disposed on the thermal management component, and the emissions collected by the collection chamber is discharged through the pressure relief region. According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, the safety of the battery can be enhanced.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an explosion-proof valve, a battery pack, and an apparatus. The explosion-proof valve includes a flame arresting member and an air permeable membrane. The flame arresting member is configured to connect to a housing of a battery pack, the air permeable membrane is fastened to the flame arresting member, and the battery pack is capable of exchanging gas with the outside through the flame arresting member and the air permeable membrane in sequence. During use of the explosion-proof valve of this application in the battery pack of this application, when thermal runaway occurs inside the housing of the battery pack, pressure inside the housing is suddenly increased, and as a result, the battery pack releases the pressure through the explosion-proof valve, and high-temperature runaway gas impacts and melts the air permeable membrane, forming a smooth air flow channel.

The battery includes: a battery cell, including a pressure relief mechanism, wherein the pressure relief mechanism is disposed on a first wall of the battery cell; a thermal management component, wherein a first surface of the thermal management component is attached to the first wall, and the thermal management component is provided with a pressure relief hole opposite to the pressure relief mechanism; and a baffle configured to cover a part of the pressure relief hole, so that when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, a discharge direction of the emissions entering the pressure relief hole is changed. The battery, the power consumption device, the method and the device for producing the battery provided in the embodiments of the present application can enhance safety of batteries.

Abstract: The present application discloses a battery and a related apparatus, production method and production device therefor. The battery includes: a battery cell, the battery cell including a pressure relief mechanism configured to be capable of being actuated when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, to relieve the internal pressure; an attachment component adapted to be attached to the battery cell by an adhesive; and an isolation component configured to be capable of preventing the adhesive from being applied between the attachment component and the pressure relief mechanism. By providing the isolation component, it is possible to prevent the adhesive from being applied between the attachment component and the pressure relief mechanism in an effective manner in a process of battery production. Meanwhile, application efficiency and accuracy of the adhesive could be improved, thereby improving production efficiency of the battery.
