Abstract: The present application relates to a battery module and a battery pack, the battery module including a battery cell arrangement structure, bus bars and a fixing plate, where the battery cell arrangement structure includes a plurality of battery cells; the plurality of battery cells are electrically connected by means of a plurality of the bus bars to form a first output electrode of the battery module and a second output electrode of the battery module, and the first output electrode of the battery module and the second output electrode of the battery module are arranged at a same end of the battery module along a horizontal direction; the fixing plate is provided with an insulating portion, and at least a part of the insulating portion is located between the first output electrode of the battery module and the second output electrode of the battery module.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a battery module including at least one battery unit array structure, an upper cover, a lower cover and a fireproof component disposed vertically. Each battery unit array structure includes a plurality of battery units and a plurality of busbars electrically connected to the plurality of battery units. The battery unit array structure is disposed between the upper cover and the lower cover. Each battery unit of each battery unit array structure is provided with a vent facing towards the fireproof component. Different from the related art, when thermal runaway occurs in a battery unit according to the present disclosure, flame and high-temperature particles ejected from a vent of a battery unit are blocked by the fireproof component from burning adjacent battery units, thereby preventing the thermal runaway in the other battery units from being triggered by the existing thermal runaway.

Abstract: The application provides a battery module, which includes a plurality of batteries, an upper cover, and a pressing strip. The pressing strip covers an explosion-proof valve of a battery, and includes a main body portion and a bottom plate portion. The bottom plate portion is connected to the main body portion and forms an accommodating cavity together with the main body portion. A fire extinguishing agent is sealed in the accommodating cavity. The bottom plate portion of the pressing strip is configured to be melted. The fire extinguishing agent is constantly stored in the accommodating cavity of the pressing strip, so as to avoid wasteful use of the fire extinguishing agent caused by the same flowing in all directions, so that the amount of the fire extinguishing agent can be maintained at a constant level at all times.

Both the first battery module and the second battery module are arranged in the housing; the fireproof member is vertically disposed and located between the vents of the first battery module, where the vents of the first battery module and the vents of the second battery module both face the fireproof member. The battery pack prevents collective thermal runaway of the battery cells by using the fireproof member to separate the battery cells of the first battery modules and the battery cells of the second battery modules.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a battery module and a battery pack. The battery module comprises a plurality of battery cells and a fireproof member, wherein each of the plurality of battery cells is provided with a vent, and the vent faces the fireproof member; wherein the fireproof member includes a fireproof member body and a first extension connected to an upper end of the fireproof member; and/or a second extension connected to a lower end of the fireproof member. When thermal runaway occurs to the battery cells, flames and high temperature particles ejected out of the vent are blocked by the fireproof member body and the first extension and/or the second extension, thus preventing the ejected flames and high temperature particles from burning neighboring battery cells, and preventing the battery cells that has undergone thermal runaway from inducing thermal runaway of the neighboring battery cells opposite to the vents.
