Abstract: The present disclosure provides a battery pack, including: a battery box (1), a plurality of battery modules (2), a cooling plate (3), and a buffering member (4). Each battery module (2) includes a plurality of battery cells (21) and a plurality of busbars (22). Each battery cell (21) includes an electrode assembly (211) and a battery housing (212). The battery cells (21) are laid flat. When the electrode assembly (211) is of a wound structure and is flat, and outer surfaces of the electrode assembly (211) include two flat surfaces (2110). The two flat surfaces (2110) are opposite to each other in a vertical direction. Alternatively, when the electrode assembly (211) is of a laminated structure, a first electrode plate (2111), a separator (2113), and a second electrode plate (2112) are stacked in a vertical direction. Therefore, the electrode assembly (211) of the battery cells (21) applies a greatest expansion force in the vertical direction during charge and discharge. The cooling plate (3) is disposed at a side of the battery module (2) in the vertical direction, and the buffering member (4) is disposed between the cooling plate (3) and the battery box (1). Therefore, the greatest expansion force applied by the battery cells (21) on the buffering member (4) enables the buffering member (4) to fit closely with both the cooling plate (3) and the battery box (1) concurrently, thereby increasing a heat dissipation area to improve heat dissipation effects of the cooling plate (3).

Abstract: A secondary battery and a battery unit is provided. The secondary battery includes: a housing including an accommodating hole with an opening; a top cover assembly connected to the housing in a sealed manner to cover and close the opening; an electrode assembly arranged in the accommodating hole, wherein the top cover assembly is spaced apart from the electrode assembly to form a first buffer gap for buffering the amount of expansion deformation of the electrode assembly in the axial direction. Abstract: The application provides a battery module, which includes a plurality of batteries, an upper cover, and a pressing strip. The pressing strip covers an explosion-proof valve of a battery, and includes a main body portion and a bottom plate portion. The bottom plate portion is connected to the main body portion and forms an accommodating cavity together with the main body portion. A fire extinguishing agent is sealed in the accommodating cavity. The bottom plate portion of the pressing strip is configured to be melted. The fire extinguishing agent is constantly stored in the accommodating cavity of the pressing strip, so as to avoid wasteful use of the fire extinguishing agent caused by the same flowing in all directions, so that the amount of the fire extinguishing agent can be maintained at a constant level at all times.
