    Abstract: A radio communication apparatus performing radio communication based on either role, a master or a slave, includes: a role change receiver receiving a role change request from a master to a slave when the radio communication apparatus has a role of master and has established connection to another radio communication apparatus operating as a slave; and an identification information transmitter transmitting identification information to the other radio communication apparatus on a given channel at shorter time intervals when the role change receiver receives the change request than a given comparison criterion for when the role change receiver does not receive the change request.

    Abstract: A communication apparatus includes a communication unit and a controller. The controller determines, according to a first reference of received signal strength in one communication apparatus which is either an external communication apparatus or the communication apparatus, a transmitted signal strength for a transmission radio wave from the other communication apparatus as a first reference of transmitted signal strength. The controller determines a second reference of transmitted signal strength between the first reference of transmitted signal strength and a maximum strength of transmitted signal strength from the other communication apparatus. When a predetermined condition is satisfied, the controller obtains a received signal strength of the one communication apparatus for the transmission radio wave in the second reference of transmitted signal strength and determines a transmitted signal strength of a transmission radio wave from the other communication apparatus according to the received signal strength.

    Abstract: An objective of the present disclosure is to provide a wireless communication device that is capable of efficiently searching another wireless communication device that is capable of providing a required service. A master device, when the master device receives an advertisement from a slave device, transmits, to the slave device, a scan request that includes information on a requested service that the master device requires. The slave device, which has received the scan request, decides whether or not the slave device itself is capable of providing the requested services, and transmits, to the master device, a scan response that includes a result of the decision.
