摘要： A receptacle assembly includes a front housing configured for mating with a header assembly and a contact module coupled to the front housing. The contact module includes a conductive holder having a first side wall and an opposite second side wall. The conductive holder has a chamber between the first and second side walls. The conductive holder has a front coupled to the front housing. The contact module includes a frame assembly that is received in the chamber. The frame assembly includes a plurality of contacts and a dielectric frame that supports the contacts. The contacts extend from the conductive holder for electrical termination. A plurality of ground clips are received in the chamber and extend from the front of the conductive holder. The ground clips are mechanically and electrically connected to the conductive holder.

摘要： A receptacle assembly includes a contact module having a conductive holder has a first side and an opposite second side. The conductive holder has a chamber between the first and second sides. A frame assembly is received in the chamber of the conductive holder. The frame assembly includes a plurality of contacts and a dielectric frame supporting the contacts. The contacts extend from the conductive holder for electrical termination. A ground lead frame is received in the chamber between the frame assembly and the conductive holder. The ground leadframe has grounding members that extend from the conductive holder for electrical termination to header shields of the header assembly.

摘要： A receptacle assembly includes a contact module that includes a conductive holder and a frame assembly received in the conductive holder. The frame assembly includes a plurality of contacts and a dielectric frame supporting the contacts and disposed between the conductive holder and the contacts. The contacts extend from the conductive holder for electrical termination. A front housing receives the contact module therein. The front housing has a plurality of clip supports at a rear of the front housing. A rib clip is held by the clip supports. The rib clip has a plurality of grounding fingers that extend therefrom that are configured to engage corresponding header shields of a header assembly. The rib clip includes a plurality of mounting tabs that extend therefrom for engaging the conductive holder to electrically connect the rib clip to the conductive holder.

摘要： An electrical connector for electrically coupling an electronic module and an electrical component. The connector includes a connector body that has first and second mating surfaces. The connector body includes interconnects that extend through the connector body between the first and second mating surfaces for electrically coupling the module and the component. The connector body has a hole extending therethrough along a central axis. The hole is configured to receive a guide pin from one of the module and the component. The connector also includes surface mount projections that are coupled to the connector body and extend toward the central axis of the hole. The projections engage and flex against the guide pin when the guide pin is inserted into the hole. The projections form an interference fit with the guide pin to hold the connector body in a mounted position.

摘要： An electrical connector for electrically coupling an electronic module and an electrical component. The connector includes a substrate that has first and second surfaces separated by a thickness. The substrate includes interconnects that extend through the substrate and are arranged in an array. The interconnects are configured to engage the module along the first surface and engage the electrical component along the second surface. The connector also includes alignment members that extend through openings in the substrate. The alignment members include heads that project beyond and away from the first surface. The heads are located about the substrate relative to each other to collectively form a module reception area therebetween to hold the module in a predetermined position and orientation with respect to the first surface and with respect to the interconnects.

摘要： An interposer frame assembly includes a static frame and a biasing frame. The static and biasing frames include legs joined with and oriented at an angle with respect to one another. The legs include mounting surfaces and opposite upper surfaces that are interconnected by an inner side. The mounting surfaces have outwardly protruding posts and the inner sides have protrusions extending away from the legs. The posts are received in openings of an interposer assembly such that the static frame and the biasing frame are aligned on opposite sides of a contact field of the interposer assembly. The protrusions of the static frame and the biasing members of the biasing frame guide and retain a circuit board with contacts into a mated relationship with corresponding contacts in the contact field of the interposer assembly.

The substrate layer may include a via having a diameter such that the depression is formed in the contact pad when the contact pad is plated over the via. The depression may also be stamped in the exposed surface of the contact pad. Alternatively, the depression may be surrounded by a raised conductive perimeter that is configured to retain the mating contact tip.
