摘要： A data-driving apparatus of an electro-luminescence display panel includes a display panel receiving a current signal to display an image, and a data driver having a plurality of current sink data drive parts in order to supply data to the display panel based on a constant current, wherein the current sink data drive part comprises a current sink data drive integrated circuit for supplying the data to the display panel based on the constant current, and a reference current supply/path part for supplying the constant current to the current sink data drive integrated circuit and, at a same time, supplying the same constant current to an adjacent current sink data driver in a cascade circuit configuration.

The electroluminescent display panel having a plurality of unit pixels defined by a plurality of gatelines, and a plurality of sourcelines running perpendicular to each other, the unit pixel including a first switching device, a capacitor having a first terminal connected to an output terminal of the first switching device, and a second terminal connected to a power source voltage terminal, a second switching device connected to the power source voltage terminal, an electroluminescent part, and a light emission suppressing part connected to the one end of the capacitor for turning off the electroluminescent part for a preset period during a period before the present frame is operated, by receiving an enable signal that causes discharge of the capacitor and discharging a charge stored in the capacitor, thereby fabricating a high definition display.

摘要： An electro-luminescence panel that is capable of improving brightness. In the panel, a single of compensation circuit is configured for a single of gate lines. Accordingly, the panel can considerably improve an aperture ratio in comparison to the existent electro-luminescence panel adopting a compensation circuit for each pixel. Also, it can improve a throughput and eliminate a stripe occurring at the pixel cell.

摘要： An apparatus and method for driving an electro-luminescence panel wherein pixels in a current driving type electrode-luminescence panel are pre-charged to change a storage voltage of the pixel into the corresponding voltage within a limited scanning time. In the apparatus, a plurality of electro-luminescence cells are arranged at crossings between gate lines and data lines. A gate driver is connected to the gate lines to sequentially drive the gate lines. A data driver is connected to the data lines to apply pixel signals, via the data lines, to the electro-luminescence cells. A pre-charger is provided within the data driver to pre-charge a current into the data lines before the pixel signals are applied via the data lines.
