    摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus and a method for estimating a state of a reception buffer, and processing a downlink frame based on the estimated state of the reception buffer in a wireless terminal. The method includes continuously monitoring a level of a reception buffer; determining based on the level of the reception buffer whether to store the incoming data frame; discarding the incoming data frame when the level of the reception buffer is insufficient for storage of the incoming data frame; and reporting to a transmitter that the incoming data frame has been discarded.

    摘要: A method is provided for self-calibrating the mismatch and the direct current (DC) offset occurring in a mobile transceiver. The transmitter of the mobile terminal is used as a signal generator and the receiver thereof is used as a response characteristic measurer. The baseband processor calibrates the mismatch and the DC offset for the receiving and transmitting sides using a test signal received from the transmitter. When multiple input subcarriers are used in a mixer present on a reception stage, self-calibration is performed using multiple received test signals obtained from one transmission test signal.

    摘要: Hybrid Duplex (DUAL MODE) apparatus and method for supporting a low-complexity terminal in a wireless communication system are provided. The apparatus includes a frequency generator and controller for selecting a frequency for one of the dual mode according to a scheduling and generating a control signal for a Duplexer/Switch switching to the selected mode; and a reconfigurable radio frequency (RF) filter/mixer for up-converting an input intermediate frequency (IF) signal to an RF signal using the selected frequency. Accordingly, the DUAL MODE service of the low-complexity terminal can be supported effectively.
