摘要: An ultra wide band (UWB) device and a detect and avoid (DAA) method thereof are provided. The UWB device includes a detect and avoid (DAA) module block which detects a strength of radio signals received in a plurality of channels and determines communicability of the channels; a multitone generation block which generates a plurality of frequencies corresponding to the plurality of the channels and outputs one of the plurality of frequencies; and a controller which controls the multitone generation block to generate frequencies of an available channel which is determined to be communicable by the DAA module block. The method includes detecting a strength of radio signals received in a plurality of channels; determining communicability of the channels according to the detected strength of the radio signals; generating frequencies corresponding to a channel which is determined to be communicable; and transmitting or receiving a signal using the generated frequencies.

摘要: An ultra wide band (UWB) device and a detect and avoid (DAA) method thereof are provided. The UWB device includes a detect and avoid (DAA) module block which detects a strength of radio signals received in a plurality of channels and determines communicability of the channels; a multitone generation block which generates a plurality of frequencies corresponding to the plurality of the channels and outputs one of the plurality of frequencies; and a controller which controls the multitone generation block to generate frequencies of an available channel which is determined to be communicable by the DAA module block. The method includes detecting a strength of radio signals received in a plurality of channels; determining communicability of the channels according to the detected strength of the radio signals; generating frequencies corresponding to a channel which is determined to be communicable; and transmitting or receiving a signal using the generated frequencies.

摘要: A multiband antenna with removed coupling includes a radiator formed as a meander line bent zigzag several times and having a gap filling part in at least one area between neighboring meander lines. The gap filling part interconnects the neighboring meander lines. The multiband antenna further includes a ground connected with the radiator and at least one switch element mounted in an area along the longitudinal direction of the radiator and configured to alternately short or open an area of the radiator. Accordingly, two different resonance frequencies can be tuned using the single antenna, and the antenna efficiency can be enhanced by removing the coupling between the resonant frequencies that are tuned through the gap filling.

摘要: Disclosed is an antenna capable of micro-tuning and macro-tuning for a wireless terminal, comprising: a radiator radiating electromagnetic waves; a ground connected to the radiator; at least one switching element positioned at a lengthwise region of the radiator, for shorting or opening the region of the radiator; and a voltage controlling element positioned at the radiator between the switching element and the ground, for controlling the extent of a voltage potential applied across the radiator. In accordance with the present invention, the antenna is capable of the macro-tuning between the service bands and micro-tuning for channel control within the service bands. Furthermore, the size of the antenna is significantly reduced and the antenna is installed on a circuit board in a patch type, thereby simplifying a work process.

摘要: A mobile terminal is provided having an radio frequency identification (RFID) function and includes an antenna which transmits and receives a radio signal; a radio frequency identification matching circuit which changes an operating band of the antenna to a frequency band where an RFID radio signal is input and output; a communication module which processes a mobile communication radio signal transmitted and received via the antenna; and a switch which connects the antenna to either the communication module or the RFID matching circuit according to whether an RFID function is used or not. Accordingly, the compactness of the mobile terminal can be realized, and the RFID communication performance can be enhanced.

摘要: A monopole antenna capable of implementing an MIMO system, which includes a ground part formed of plate metal, a monopole antenna element connected to one side of the ground part and formed of strips bent multiple times, an auxiliary antenna element connected to one side of the ground part and disposed adjacent to the monopole antenna element to electrically connect to the monopole antenna element, and a short-circuit part interconnecting the monopole antenna element and the auxiliary antenna element. Accordingly, the monopole antenna element is bent multiple times so that the antenna can become compact in less than half a width compared to the conventional antenna, and when the MIMO system is constructed, the interference between the respective antennas can be reduced so that the array antenna can become compact in size.

摘要: A flat-plate MIMO array antenna includes a substrate, a plurality of antenna elements disposed on the substrate, and at least one isolation element interposed between a plurality of antenna elements on the substrate and connected to a ground. Mutual interference between the antenna elements is prevented by the isolation element formed between the antenna elements, thereby preventing the distortion of the radiation pattern. Also, since the isolation element is grounded to the ground surface, the isolation element operates as a parasitic antenna, thereby increasing the output gain.
