摘要： A contacting terminal electrically connecting with an electrical element includes a soldering plate, a pair of facing confining plates extended upward from two opposite side edges of the soldering plate, an upward flexible arm extended from one end of the soldering plate, and a contacting portion extended from a free end of the flexible arm and beyond tops of the confining plates. The contacting portion is elastically pressed downward by the electrical element to realize an electrical connection therebetween and restricted between the confining plates. Tops of the confining plates are capable of stopping the electrical element pressing the contacting portion downward excessively.

摘要： A clutching jig includes a first holding bar, a second holding bar, and a fixing means. The first holding bar has a first inner surface, a first end portion and a second end, an engaging portion projected from the first inner surface of the first end portion, and a first recess formed on the second end portion. The second holding bar includes a second inner surface, a third end portion, a fourth end portion, and a second recess formed on the fourth end portion. The fixing means fixes the first end portion with the third end portion. While the clutching jig is assembled, the first inner surface faces the second inner surface, and the engaging portion engages the second inner surface of the third end portion by the fixing means to form a gap between the first inner surface and the second inner surface.

摘要： A connector terminal which is curved from a strip-shaped metal plate to form a substantial R-shape includes a soldering plate and a flexible arm gradually away from the soldering plate from one end of the flexible arm to the other end of the flexible arm and arching toward the soldering plate. One end of the flexible arm abuts against the soldering plate and the other end of the flexible arm is bent towards the soldering plate to form a contacting end. An arched bent portion connects the soldering plate and one end of the flexible arm, which abuts against the soldering plate, to make the connector terminal show a substantial R-shape. When an external force acts on the contacting end to press the contacting end towards the soldering plate, the contact area between the flexible arm and the soldering plate is gradually enlarged.

摘要： A connector assembly includes a socket connector, and a plug connector including a plug housing and plug terminals disposed in the plug housing and each having a contact portion projected sideward out of the plug housing. The socket connector includes a socket housing defining an insertion space, plug terminals disposed in the socket housing and contact pads embedded in two opposite inner sidewalls of the insertion space to connect with the plug terminals and exposed in the insertion space. Two end edges of the inner sidewalls of the insertion space are designed with two arc-shaped guiding surfaces. A bottom of each contact pad is bent and embedded in the inner sidewall to realize a smooth connection of the contact pad and the guiding surface so as to guide the contact portions to be inserted into the insertion space along the guiding surfaces and electrically contact with the contact pads.
