Abstract: An intelligent leakage current detection and interruption device for a power cord, including a switch module configured to control electrical connection of first and second power lines between input and output ends; a leakage current detection module, including first and second leakage current detection lines coupled in series, configured to detect a leakage current on the first and second power lines, respectively; a detection monitoring module, coupled in series to the first and second leakage current detection lines and to the first and second power lines, configured to detect an open circuit condition in the first or second leakage current detection line; and a drive module, coupled to the switch module, the leakage current detection module and the detection monitoring module, configured to drive the switch module to cut off power to the output end in response to any detected leakage current or open circuit condition.

Abstract: A leakage current protection device with an illumination function, including a shell, a movement assembly in the shell, power input and output assemblies coupled to the movement assembly, and an illumination assembly disposed inside the shell, which includes: an illumination control board electrically coupled to the power input or output assembly; a sensing unit coupled to the illumination control board and configured to sense an ambient condition outside the shell to generate a sensing output signal; a light emitting unit coupled to the control board, and controlled by the control board to turn on or off in response to the sensing output signal; and a light guide unit, formed by an operating element partially protruding out of the shell and disposed adjacent the light emitting unit, configured to guide the illumination light emitted by the light emitting unit out of the shell. Abstract: A power supply cord for use with a leakage current detection and interruption device, including at least two power supply lines, at least two insulating layers respectively covering the at least two power supply lines, at least two shield lines respectively covering the at least two insulating layers, and at least one insulating structure covering at least one of the at least two shield lines to electrically insulate the at least two shield lines from each other. By providing the insulating structure outside of at least one of the shield lines, the shield lines of different power supply lines are independent of each other, so that the shield lines can better detect leakage currents in the power supply lines.

Abstract: A power cord for a leakage current detection and interruption device including two insulated power supply lines, two leakage current detection lines for detecting a leakage current on the power supply lines, and two conductor wires. The two leakage current detection lines and the two conductor wires are electrically insulated from each other along the length of the power cord but are electrically connected in series to form a detection current path of a leakage current detection module. The leakage current detection and interruption device further includes a detection monitoring module, coupled in series to the detection current path, for detecting an open circuit condition in the detection current path. The device further includes a switch module and a drive module, which can cut off power supply in response to a detected leakage current or open circuit condition in the detection current path.

Abstract: A leakage current detection and interruption (LCDI) device for a power cord includes a switch unit configured to control an electrical connection between an input end and an output end, and a leakage current protection unit, which includes a switch drive module and a leakage current detection module. The leakage current detection module includes first and second leakage current detection lines coupled in series. The switch drive module is configured to control the switch unit based on a leakage current signal generated by the leakage current detection module to disconnect the electrical connection. The LCDI device can detect whether the first and second leakage current detection lines are intact, thereby ensuring the reliability of the device.

Abstract: A leakage current protection plug includes a body formed by a top cover and a base, a moving assembly disposed in the body, and output wires. The moving assembly includes a control circuit board, and a detector assembly and a trip assembly disposed on the control circuit board, wherein power input insertion plates and power output moving contact arms are assembled with the moving assembly. Each output moving contact arm is formed integrally and fixed to the detector assembly, and the output ends of the output moving contact arms are directly connected to the output conductor wires. The device has a simple overall structure and can be reliably assembled. By using integrally formed output moving contact arms to directly couple the input and output, it improves the accuracy of the leakage current detection parameters, reduces internal transfers and solder points, and reduces the size and cost of the plug.

Abstract: A leakage current detection and protection device coupled between input and output ends of power lines, and includes first and second switching modules, a leakage current detection module, a self-test module, and first and second drive modules. When the leakage current detection module detects a leakage current on the power lines, the second drive module controls the second switching module to disconnect power to the output end. When the self-test module detects a fault in the leakage current detection module, the first drive module controls the first switching module to disconnect the power to the output ends. The first switching module is coupled between the input end and a point where the leakage current detection module, the self-test module, and the first and second drive modules are coupled, so that these modules are de-powered when the first switching module disconnects the electrical connection to output ends.

Abstract: A leakage current detection and protection device, and power connector and electrical appliance employing the same. The device includes: a leakage current detection module which detects a leakage current on the power lines to generate a leakage fault signal; a self-test module which periodically generates a simulated leakage current and outputs a self-test fault signal when the leakage current detection module is faulty; a trip module, including a switch coupled between the input and output ends of the power lines, and a first trip coil which drives the switch; a drive module which drives the trip module to disconnect the electrical connection between the input and output ends in response to the leakage fault signal and/or the self-test fault signal; and a trip function detection module which generates a trip coil fault signal in response to detecting an open circuit in the first trip coil to disconnect the electrical connection.
