    摘要: The invention discloses a method for igniting a lamp of a projector. The method includes steps of: (a) sensing a first temperature difference in response to power-off of the projector; (b) in response to power-on of the projector, detecting an aftercooling time and judging whether it is smaller than a predetermined cooling time, if YES, perform step (c); otherwise, perform step (g); (c) sensing a second temperature difference; (d) judging whether a ratio of the second temperature difference to the first temperature difference is larger than a threshold, if YES, perform step (e); otherwise, perform step (g); (e) calculating a re-cooling time; (f) controlling a fan to operate for the re-cooling time to cool the lamp down; and (g) igniting the lamp.

The flow-conducting member includes a hollow body, and at least one part of the light source module is disposed in the body. The body has an inlet and an outlet. The blower is adjacent to the inlet and used for blowing a flow toward the inlet along a first direction. The flow will leave the outlet along a second direction different from the first direction. Utilizing the flow-conducting method and disposition for fans/blowers according to the invention, even if plural light sources are disposed adjacent to each other, the heat generated by the light sources can be effectively dissipated.

    摘要: An optical sensing apparatus with anti-dust structure, for sensing a rotation device which has a rotation surface rotating along a rotation direction, includes a base, an optical sensor, and a stop block. The stop block is located beside the optical sensor and disposed with the optical sensor on the base in accordance with the order of the rotation direction. A distance between a stagnation surface of the stop block and the rotation surface is shorter than a distance between a sensing surface of the optical apparatus and the rotation surface. When an air flow passes between the stagnation surface and the rotation surface, dust within the air flow could be partially deposited on the stagnation surface so as to reduce the deposition amount of the dust on the sensing surface. A filter apparatus with the optical sensing apparatus and a projector with the filter apparatus are also disclosed.

    摘要: A velocity-profile modifying device is located between a heat component and an air pouring apparatus. The air pouring apparatus pours the air into the heat component via an air moving track. The velocity-profile modifying device is set at the air moving track and is used for modifying a first velocity-profile of airflow by the air pouring apparatus to a second velocity-profile and further for making the air distribute evenly toward the heat component. By providing the velocity profile modifying device, a better distribution of the airflow toward the heat component and a stable temperature status of the heat component can be achieved.

    摘要: The invention discloses an apparatus for actuating an object movably mounted on a slide rail. The apparatus includes a processing unit, a controlling unit, a driving unit, and a motor. The processing unit is used for receiving an input signal and outputting a command signal in response to the input signal. The controlling unit is coupled to the processing unit and used for selectively outputting three kinds of enabling signals. The driving unit is coupled to the controlling unit and used for selectively outputting three kinds of driving signals each of which has a respective duty cycle. The motor is coupled to the driving unit and operatively connected to the object. The motor is used for actuating the object moving along the slide rail in accordance with different driving signal. Accordingly, when the object is reversed from the original moving direction, the apparatus of the invention can also function well.
