摘要: A method of determining a temperature of a patient includes measuring a first temperature of the patient with a temperature device, and measuring a second temperature of an environment with the temperature device. The method includes determining if a change in the ambient temperature exceeds a threshold. If the change does exceed the threshold, the method also includes applying a correction factor to the first temperature of the patient to account for the change in ambient temperature.

摘要: A predictive electronic thermometer circuit structure capable of temperature compensation is provided, including: a compensation module, a thermometer circuit, and a liquid crystal display (LCD) drive module. The thermometer circuit includes a temperature measurement oscillation circuit and a real measurement module. The compensation module and the real measurement module are connected in parallel between the temperature measurement oscillation circuit and the LCD drive module. The predictive electronic thermometer circuit structure controls the on and off of the compensation module and the real measurement module through a combination logic control switch respectively. When the compensation module is off and the real measurement module is on, an actual measured data is output. When the real measurement module is off and the compensation module is on, a temperature value is output after predictive compensation. The electronic thermometer has a temperature compensation function, and measures the temperature quickly and accurately.

In one aspect, an infrared detector is provided that includes a pyroelectric sensor; a controller for receiving a trigger signal outputted by the pyroelectric sensor; a thermopile sensor, wherein the controller starts the thermopile sensor after receiving the trigger signal output by the pyroelectric sensor; and an alarm, wherein the controller controls the alarm to generate an alarm signal in response to a determination that a difference between a current temperature and a background temperature detected by the thermopile sensor is larger than a threshold value and a determination that the areas of the thermopile sensor activated correspond to a human being.

摘要: In a portable electronic device, a temperature sensor (1) is provided for sensing an ambient temperature (TR) of the portable electronic device. At least one other temperature sensor (3) is provided for sensing a temperature (TI) inside the portable electronic device. The portable electronic device further comprises a set of components (2) radiating heat in an active state in response to the consumption of electrical energy. A calibration module (5) is adapted to conduct a calibration measurement during or in response to an active state of at least a first component out of the set, and is adapted to determine a set of calibration parameters (c1) in response to the calibration measurement for adjusting the at least one sensed inside temperature (T1). A compensator (4) is provided for determining a compensated ambient temperature (TA) dependent on at least the sensed ambient temperature (TS) and the at least one adjusted sensed inside temperature (c1, T1).

摘要: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed to estimate temperature at one or more critical points in a data processing system comprising modeling a steady state temperature portion of a thermal model at the one or more critical points using regression analysis; modeling the transient temperature portion of the thermal model at the one or more critical points using a filtering algorithm; and generating a thermal model at the one or more critical points by combining the steady state temperature portion of the thermal model with the transient temperature portion of the thermal model. The thermal model may then be used to estimate an instantaneous temperature at the one or more critical points or to predict a future temperature at the one or more critical points.

摘要: Sensor probes with anti-icing and methods for manufacturing such sensor probes are disclosed. An exemplary sensor probe comprises a probe sensor, a probe body housing the probe sensor and an anti-icing device. The anti-icing device is bonded to and covers at least part of the probe body for preventing ice from forming on the probe body. The anti-icing device comprises a heating element thermally insulated from the probe body by a thermal insulator and a hydrophobic coating covering the heating element and defining an outer surface for exposure to an airflow. The heating element may be deposited using a direct write process.
