    摘要: A viewing-angle adjustable liquid crystal display includes a display panel and a data driver. The display panel includes several pixel units. Each pixel unit has a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel. The data driver provides a first driving voltage and a second driving voltage, respectively, to the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel. When the liquid crystal display is operated in the wide viewing-angle mode, the first and the second driving voltage of each pixel unit are substantially equal to a pixel voltage, while when the liquid crystal display is operated in the narrow viewing-angle mode, the first driving voltages corresponding to one portion of the pixel units and the second driving voltages corresponding to the other portion of the pixel units are substantially equal to a gray-level voltage.

    摘要: An LCD includes a backlight module, two polarizers, an LCD panel and a viewing-angle-adjustable device. The polarizers are disposed over the backlight module. The LCD panel and the first viewing-angle-adjusting device are disposed between the polarizers. The viewing-angle-adjusting device comprises a first substrate, a first electrode, a liquid crystal layer, a second electrode and a second substrate. The first electrode is disposed on the first substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed on the first electrode. The second electrode and the second substrate are disposed on the liquid crystal layer. The first liquid crystal layer is sealed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The second electrode is disposed on the bottom surface of the second substrate.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel including an active matrix substrate, an opposite substrate, a first sealant, a liquid crystal layer, an upper particle barrier and a second sealant is provided. The opposite substrate is disposed above the active matrix substrate. The first sealant is disposed between the active matrix substrate and the opposite substrate, and the LCD panel has a liquid crystal injection inlet. The liquid crystal layer is interposed between the active matrix substrate and the opposite substrate. The upper particle barrier is disposed on the opposite substrate corresponding to the liquid crystal injection inlet. The second sealant is disposed at the liquid crystal injection inlet. The upper particle barrier is adapted for preventing the particles accompanying the liquid crystals from entering the LCD panel during the liquid crystal injection process, to avoid the defects of the LCD panel due to the particles.
