Abstract: Embodiment of the present application provide a liquid crystal display panel and a display device. In the liquid crystal display panel provided by the embodiments of the present application, by providing a protection film covering the edge area of the top surface of the color resist block in the test area of the first substrate, the phenomenon that the ions in the color resist block diffuse into the liquid crystal layer caused by the damage or missing of the second passivation layer can be prevented, thus solving the technical problem of blackening of the edge area of the liquid crystal display panel, and improving the display quality of the liquid crystal display panel.

Abstract: A method of producing a liquid crystal panel includes a grinding process and a sealing process. The grinding process includes grinding at least one common liquid crystal panel including a liquid crystal layer, a pair of boards that sandwich the liquid crystal layer, and a frame-shaped sealing member sandwiched between the boards along the non-rectangular outline to remove a section of the sealing member and to leave a rest of the sealing member. The grinding process further includers forming a sealing member removed processed edge section of the common liquid crystal pane. The sealing member removed processed edge section includes edges of the boards corresponding to the section of the sealing member removed from the common liquid crystal panel. The sealing process includes applying a sealing resin to the sealing member removed processed edge section to fill a space between the edges of the board.

Abstract: The present invention provides a horizontal alignment-type liquid crystal display device including a viewing-side polarizing plate; a liquid crystal cell; a backlight-side polarizing plate; and a backlight, in this order, the liquid crystal cell includes a liquid crystal layer held between two substrates, at least any one of the substrates is a resin substrate, the polarizing plate provided on the resin substrate side includes a gas barrier film including a phase difference layer and an inorganic layer, and a polarizer, and the gas barrier film is on the resin substrate side with respect to the polarizer. In the horizontal alignment-type liquid crystal display device according to the present invention, thinning based on the use of the resin substrate is effectively realized, and a liquid crystal cell can be sealed.

Abstract: A display panel and an electronic device are provided. The display panel comprises a base substrate including a display region and a border region surrounding the display region, wherein the border region includes an encapsulation region; a plurality of display units disposed in the display region; an encapsulation member disposed in the border region; a plurality of wires disposed in the border region; and a cover substrate arranged opposite to the base substrate. The display units and the wires are disposed between the base substrate and the cover substrate, the encapsulation member is disposed in the encapsulation region and configured to bond and fix the base substrate to the cover substrate, and at least one of the wires is disposed in the encapsulation region.
