Abstract:
A DVB-H receiver for performing forward error correction is disclosed. The DVB-H receiver includes: a tuner, for receiving a data stream; a base-band receiver, coupled to the tuner, for continuously extracting and transmitting data bytes of an MPE-FEC frame from the data stream; a backend system, coupled to the base-band receiver, for generating corresponding syndromes of the extracted data bytes once all data bytes of the MPE-FEC frame are received, outputting the syndromes to the base-band receiver, and forward error correcting the MPE-FEC frame according to error values corresponding to the syndromes; and a storage device, coupled to the backend system, for storing the extracted data bytes. The base-band receiver generates the error values and error locations according to the received syndromes, and then outputs the error values and error locations to the backend system.

Abstract:
The invention provides an electronic apparatus. In one embodiment, the electronic apparatus comprises a plurality of ports, an Ethernet circuit, a port switch, and a flow control scheduler. The Ethernet circuit generates a plurality of transmitted packets according to transmitted data sent from the host, and derives received data sent to a host from a plurality of received packets. The flow control scheduler receives a plurality of transmitting requests corresponding to the ports from the host, arbitrates between the transmitting requests corresponding to the ports to select a transmitting port from the ports, receives a plurality of receiving requests corresponding to the ports from the host, and arbitrates between the plurality of receiving requests corresponding to the ports to select a receiving port from the ports. The port switch sends the transmitted packets to the transmitting port, and receives the received packets from the receiving port.
Abstract:
A wireless communication system comprises a plurality of antennas, a plurality of tuners, a plurality of receiver ends, a bus, and a processor. Each of the tuners is connected to one of the antennas and one of the receiver ends. Each of the receiver ends has a corresponding address. A common address code is assigned to the corresponding addresses of part of receiver ends during firmware loading. The processor transmits the firmware to the part of the receiver ends via the bus based on the common address code. The corresponding addresses of the part of the receiver ends are converted back into unique address codes after the firmware is loaded.
Abstract:
A device for counting and storing automatically the number of times of usage of a cell is provided. The device essentially includes at least a battery, a current sensor, a microprocessor, a memory unit, and a communication interface. Electrical connection is provided between the microprocessor and other components. The microprocessor, coupled with the current sensor, determines a time to start or stop counting, adds up the calculated charging and discharging duration, and sends the total duration to the memory unit. An external device can be connected to the microprocessor via the communication interface for reading from the memory unit the accumulative total of the charging and discharging duration, and obtain the number of times of the full charging and the full discharging of the battery by formula-based conversion. The device enables users and maintenance technicians to understand the past usage of the cell, and provides reference for warranty maintenance.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for detecting lectin-like substances, which comprises the steps of (a) providing a first carbohydrate molecule and a test target, wherein the first carbohydrate molecule specifically binds to the lectin-like substance to be detected; (b) contacting the test target with the first carbohydrate molecule so that the lectin-like substance to be detected in the test target, if any, forms a complex with the first carbohydrate molecule; (c) removing the test target which does not form a complex with the first carbohydrate; (d) providing a detection unit comprising a second carbohydrate molecule and a reporter linked to the second carbohydrate molecule, wherein the second carbohydrate molecule is capable of specifically binding to the lectin-like substance to be detected; (e) contacting the detection unit of Step (d) with the complex formed in Step (b); (f) removing the detection unit which does not bind to the complex formed in Step (b); and (g) detecting the presence or absence of the reporter wherein the presence of the reporter indicates the presence of the lectin-like substance to be detected in the test target.
Abstract:
An integrated battery device comprises two or more power battery sets, at least one DC-DC converter and a control unit. Each of the power battery sets has a battery level monitoring unit. The battery level monitoring unit is electrically connected with the control unit. Each of the power battery sets is electrically connected with a battery management system (BMS) and the DC-DC converter, and all of the power battery sets are electrically connected with the control unit in parallel. By the above configuration, the integrated battery device can completely exhaust the power battery sets without waste instead of affecting the service life of the power battery sets, so as to effectively improve durability of devices powered by the integrated battery device.
