    摘要: A pixel array substrate and a display panel are provided. The pixel array substrate includes a substrate, scan line groups, data lines, and pixel structures. The scan line groups are disposed on the substrate. The data lines are intersected with the scan line groups. The pixel structures are connected to the scan line groups and the data lines. Each pixel structure includes an active device group, a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode, and a connection electrode. The first pixel electrode is located between the second pixel electrode and the nth scan line group. The connection electrode is located at a side of the first pixel electrode adjacent to one data line. The second pixel electrode is electrically connected to the active device group through the connection electrode. The connection electrode, the first pixel electrode, and the second pixel electrode are of the same layer.

    摘要: A driving method for a liquid crystal display includes providing a first gate pulse to a first gate line for driving adjacent first and second subpixels to perform charging operations, providing a second gate pulse to a second gate line for driving adjacent third and fourth subpixels to perform charging operations, providing a third gate pulse to a third gate line for driving the second subpixel to perform a charge-sharing operation, and providing a fourth gate pulse to a fourth gate line for driving the fourth subpixel to perform a charge-sharing operation. The first and second gate lines are spaced out at least one gate line. The third gate line is adjacent to the first gate line. The fourth gate line is adjacent to the second gate line. The first gate pulse, the second gate pulse, the third gate pulse and the fourth gate pulse are sequentially triggered.

    摘要: An active device array substrate including a substrate, multiple scan lines, multiple data lines, multiple of pixels are provided. The scan lines and the data lines are disposed on the substrate. Each pixel includes multiple sub-pixels including at least a transistor, a pixel electrode, and a color filter. The transistor is disposed on the substrate and electrically connected to the scan line and the data line correspondingly. A portion of the color filter is disposed between the pixel electrode and the corresponding scan line. The pixel electrode is coupled with the corresponding scan line to form a first capacitor. The drain of the transistor is coupled with the corresponding scan line to form a second capacitor. In a single pixel, the coupling areas of the pixel electrodes corresponding to various color filters with the corresponding scan lines are different, so that capacitance of the first capacitors are substantially the same.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display including an active device array substrate, an opposite substrate disposed above the active device array substrate, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the active device array substrate and the opposite substrate, and spacers is provided. The active device array substrate includes a substrate, pixels, a first dielectric layer and color filter patterns. Each pixel includes a first active device, a first pixel electrode and a capacitor electrode. The capacitor electrode and the first pixel electrode constitute a storage capacitor. The first dielectric layer covers the first active device. The color filter patterns are disposed on the first dielectric layer. Each of the color filter patterns has a first opening disposed above the capacitor electrode to expose the first dielectric layer above the capacitor electrode. Each first pixel electrode is respectively disposed on one of the color filters and within the corresponding first opening.

    摘要: An active device array substrate including a substrate, an active device array, a black matrix, a color filter, at least a pad, and at least a contact window is provided. The substrate has a display region and a periphery circuit region. The pad is disposed in the display region or the periphery circuit region and is constituted by at least one of a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer. The contact window is disposed on the pad, through which a third conductive layer is connected to the pad. The contact window is surrounded by at least two different types of light-shielding patterns, wherein each light-shielding pattern surrounds only a part of the periphery of the contact window. The light-shielding patterns are selected form at least two of the black matrix, the color filter, the first conductive layer, and the second conductive layer.

    摘要: A display panel having a display region and a non-display region is provided. The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate and a display medium between the first substrate and the second substrate. The substrate has a pixel array, a plurality of lead lines, an organic layer and a conductive pattern thereon. The pixel array is disposed within the display region. The lead lines are disposed within the non-display region and electrically connected to the pixel array. The organic layer covers the pixel array and the lead lines. The conductive pattern is disposed on the organic layer in the lead lines. The second substrate has an electrode layer thereon, and the electrode layer is disposed within the display region and the non-display region. In particular, the electrode layer and the conductive pattern are electrically connected to a common voltage.

Each of the sub-pixel units includes a main display unit and a sub-display unit. The main display unit includes a first switch and a first pixel electrode, wherein the first pixel electrode and the data lines adjacent thereto are separated from each other with a gap (G1). The sub-display unit includes a second switch and a second pixel electrode, wherein the second and the data lines adjacent thereto are overlapped with a first overlapping width (W1). The light-shielding layer is disposed between two adjacent first pixel electrodes such that the light-shielding layer and one of the first pixel electrodes adjacent thereto are overlapped with a second overlapping width (W2). Additionally, the display medium is display between the first substrate and the second substrate.
