摘要: A pixel structure is disclosed which includes a first light-emitting device, a second light-emitting device, a common driving unit, a first driving transistor, a second driving transistor, a first switch unit operably coupled between the first driving transistor and the first light-emitting device, and a second switch unit operably coupled between the second driving transistor and the second light-emitting device. The second driving transistor has a channel width-to-length ratio smaller than that of the first driving transistor. The first switch unit and the second switch unit are configured to turn on time-divisionally. Also disclosed are a display device and a method for driving the pixel structure.

摘要: To suppress a malfunction of a circuit due to deterioration in a transistor. In a transistor which continuously outputs signals having certain levels (e.g., L-level signals) in a pixel or a circuit, the direction of current flowing through the transistor is changed (inverted). That is, by changing the level of voltage applied to a first terminal and a second terminal (terminals serving as a source and a drain) every given period, the source and the drain are switched every given period. Specifically, in a portion which successively outputs signals having certain levels (e.g., L-level signals) in a circuit including a transistor, L-level signals having a plurality of different potentials (L-level signals whose potentials are changed every given period) are used as the signals having certain levels.

摘要: There are disclosed a pixel driving circuit and a driving method thereof and a display apparatus. The pixel driving circuit comprises: a main driving unit (11) connected to a data line; a main light-emitting device (12) connected to the main driving unit; an auxiliary driving unit (13) connected to the main driving unit (11); and an auxiliary light-emitting device (14) connected to the auxiliary driving unit (13). Herein, in an acquisition phase, the main driving unit (11) is configured to discharge through the main light-emitting device (12), and the auxiliary driving unit (13) is configured to discharge through the main light-emitting device (12). In a data storage phase, the main driving unit (11) is configured to store a data voltage; and in a light-emitting phase, the main driving unit (11) is configured to drive the main light-emitting device (12) to emit light, and the auxiliary driving unit (13) is configured to drive the auxiliary light-emitting device (14) to emit light. Since the auxiliary driving unit (13) can drive the auxiliary light-emitting device (14) to emit light in the light-emitting phase, brightness loss of the main light-emitting device (12) is remedied, so that brightness uniformity and brightness constancy of the display apparatus are raised.

摘要: An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display is disclosed. In one aspect, the OLED display includes a substrate and an active pattern formed over the substrate and including first to fourth regions, the first and fourth regions connected to each other. The display also includes a gate insulation layer formed over the active pattern, and a first gate electrode formed over the gate insulation layer. The first gate electrode, the first region and the second region define a first transistor. The display also includes a second gate electrode formed over the gate insulation layer, and the second gate electrode, the third region and the fourth region define a second transistor. The display also includes a first insulating interlayer formed over the first and second gate electrodes and a conductive pattern formed over the first insulating interlayer. An OLED is configured to receive a driving current from the first transistor.

From among n sustain periods Ts1, . . . , Tsn, the brightness of light emitted by the EL elements during at least one sustain period is set to be always lower than the brightness of light emitted by the EL elements during the other sustain periods, and the sustain periods are extended by the amount that the brightness has dropped. In accordance with the above structure, the sustain periods can be extended by lowering the setting of the brightness of light emitted by the EL elements.

摘要: A display device with a compensation circuit that applies a fixed potential constantly to a gate electrode of a driving transistor for a certain period is provided. Specifically, each difference voltage value between an anode and a cathode of the light emitting element is utilized in the case where the light emitting element emits light and emits no light. In a case where the light emitting element emits light, a potential of the gate electrode of the driving transistor is to be held; and in a case where the light emitting element emits no light, a potential that certainly turns off the gate electrode of the driving transistor is kept on applying to the gate electrode of the driving transistor.

摘要: Devices and methods for reducing display-to-touch crosstalk are provided. In or more examples, an electronic display panel may include a pixel. The pixel may include a pixel electrode, a common electrode, and a first transistor having a first source coupled to a data line, a first gate coupled to a gate line, and a first drain coupled to the pixel electrode. The first transistor may be configured to pass a data signal from the data line to the pixel electrode upon receipt of an activation signal from the gate line. The pixel may also include a second transistor having a second source coupled to the common electrode, a second gate coupled to the gate line, and a second drain coupled to a common voltage source. The second transistor may be configured to cause a parasitic capacitance between the gate line and the second drain of the second transistor instead of between the gate line and the first drain of the first transistor.

摘要: According to one feature of the invention, a display device comprises a pixel including a first sub-pixel having a first light-emitting element and a second sub-pixel having a second light-emitting element, a first source driver connected to a first source line included in the first sub-pixel, and a second source driver connected to a second source line included in the second sub-pixel. The first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel are provided over one surface of a light-transmitting substrate, and a first display region using the first sub-pixel over one surface of the substrate and a second display region using the second sub-pixel over the opposite surface the substrate are provided. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a display device that realizes sophistication and a high added value, which includes a display region in each of one and the opposite sides.

摘要: An organic EL device comprising: an organic EL element; a first transistor that controls a drive current of the organic EL element in accordance with a brightness adjustment voltage; and a temperature correction circuit that corrects the brightness adjustment voltage in accordance with a temperature; wherein the temperature correction circuit includes: a second transistor that has a same temperature characteristic as the first transistor; a resistor element that is connected to the second transistor; and an operational amplifier that controls the second transistor such that a predetermined reference voltage and a voltage across the resistor element become equal to each other; wherein the temperature correction circuit corrects the brightness adjustment voltage in accordance with an output from the operational amplifier.
