摘要: A coated printing paper offering high gloss, no mottled impression, sufficiently practical levels of printability in terms of ink-drying property and surface peel strength, and good productivity achieved by elimination of deposits on the calender rolls, wherein the coated printing paper comprises a base paper and a coating layer comprising pigment and adhesive formed on the base paper, and wherein a surface layer comprising 100 weight-parts of thermoplastic copolymer with a glass-transition temperature of 80° C. or above and 3 to 100 weight-parts of surface sizing agent of styrene-acrylic, olefin or styrene-maleic acid copolymer type is formed on the coating layer.

摘要: A coated paper for gravure printing that offers good gravure printability resulting from reduced missing dots while at the same time achieving high sheet gloss, wherein the paper comprises a base paper and a coating layer containing a pigment and an adhesive. This paper also contains a compound having an effect of inhibiting the binding between pulp fibers, wherein the compound, when added to 0.3 weight-part per 100 parts of bone-dry pulp, will reduce the tensile strength of the paper by five % to 40% (as measured in accordance with JIS P 8133).

摘要: The present invention aims to provide a cast-coated paper having good sheet gloss, printability and productivity and a process for preparing it. Herein disclosed is a cast-coated paper obtained by applying a cast coating layer comprising a pigment and an adhesive on a base paper, and pressing and drying the cast coating layer in the wet state against a heated mirror finishing surface to finish it, characterized in that the cast coating layer contains 50 parts by weight or more of a kaolin having a particle size distribution containing 65% by volume or more of particles in the range of 0.4-4.2 μm per 100 parts by weight of inorganic pigments and further contains a plastic pigment; as well as a process for preparing it.

摘要: The present invention aims to provide a cast-coated paper having good coated paper quality and printability combined with the property of decomposing hazardous substances upon exposure to light.A cast-coated paper prepared by applying a cast-coating layer based on a pigment and a binder on abase paper and finished by pressing the cast-coating layer in the wet state against a heated cast drum surface and drying it, wherein the cast-coating layer contains 1-30 parts by weight of titanium dioxide having an average secondary particle diameter of 300-2000 nm per 100 parts by weight of the pigment and the titanium dioxide is premixed with a silica sol or alumina sol at a ratio of the titanium dioxide to the silica sol or alumina sol of 2:1-1:2.
