摘要： Described is a needle safety device comprising a needle hub including a plurality of resilient arms having detents, a needle having a distal tip, and a needle shield telescopically coupled to the needle hub. The needle shield includes a plurality of axial slots adapted to engage the detents on the resilient arms and the detents are axially movable in the slots. The needle shield includes a plurality of grooves separated from the slots by separation walls and the grooves are adapted to engage the detents. When the needle shield is in a first position relative to the needle hub, the needle shield covers the distal tip of the needle and the detents are engaged in the slots. When the needle shield is in a second position relative to the needle hub, the distal tip of the needle protrudes through an aperture in the needle shield and the detents are engaged in the slots. When the needle shield is in a third position relative to the needle hub, the needle shield covers the distal tip of the needle and the detents are engaged in the grooves. In the third position, the detents are adapted to abut the separation walls and prevent proximal movement of the needle shield relative to the needle hub.

The inner sleeve includes a first track adapted to engage the radial protrusion. The first track includes an axial section and a radial section. When the inner sleeve is in a first advanced position (PA1) and a first angular position (P1) relative to the needle hub, the radial protrusion is engaged in the first track and the distal tip is covered. When the inner sleeve is in a retracted position (PR) relative to the needle hub, the radial protrusion is in the axial section and the distal tip is exposed. When the inner sleeve is in a second advanced position (PA2) relative to the needle hub and a second angular position (P2), the radial protrusion is in the radial section and the distal tip is covered.

摘要： According to the invention, a safety device for a pre-filled syringe comprises of a needle shield adapted to cover an injection needle of the pre-filled syringe before and after an injection, a support body with at least one pivoting arm adapted to engage a barrel collar of the pre-filled syringe and an outer body with a first inner sleeve comprising a bevelled section. The needle shield, the support body and the outer body are telescopically arranged. The needle shield, the support body and the outer body may telescope with respect to each other to cover and to expose the injection needle of the pre-filled syringe. The bevelled section is arranged to abut against the pivoting arm connected to the support body by a living hinge to deflect the pivoting arm radially inwards, so that the pivoting arm may engage the barrel collar after a dose of a medicament contained in the pre-filled syringe has been disposed beneath the skin of a patient receiving the injection.

摘要： An injection device for administering a liquid is presented that comprises a pre-filled syringe and a safety mechanism for providing needle safety for an injection needle of the pre-filled syringe. The pre-filled syringe comprises a barrel containing the liquid and a stopper translatably disposed within the barrel, where the injection needle attached to a distal end of the barrel. The safety mechanism comprises a substantially cylindrical housing adapted to contain the pre-filled syringe, a plunger connectable to the stopper of the pre-filled syringe and adapted to be translated in a distal direction (D) to expel the liquid through the injection needle, an energizable biasing means arranged between the housing and the pre-filled syringe, wherein the energized biasing means is capable of biasing the pre-filled syringe with respect to the housing in a proximal direction (P) and a retaining mechanism for retaining the pre-filled syringe with respect to the housing in a first retracted position (R1), in an advanced position (A) and in a second retracted position (R2).

The guiding means comprise a guide pin, a guide track and a cut-out adjacent to the guide track. The guide pin protrudes into the guide track and moves within and along the guide track when the needle shield is slid relative to the support body. The cut-out allows a side wall of the guide track to be deflected in a lateral direction perpendicular to a central axis of the safety device.

摘要： An injection device comprises a pre-filled syringe and a safety mechanism for providing needle safety for an injection needle of the syringe. The syringe comprises a barrel containing the liquid and a stopper disposed within the barrel. The needle is attached to a distal end of the barrel. The safety mechanism comprises a substantially cylindrical housing adapted to contain the syringe, a plunger to expel the liquid through the injection needle, and an energizable biasing member arranged between the housing and the syringe. The energized biasing member is capable of biasing the syringe with respect to the housing in a proximal direction and a retaining mechanism for retaining the syringe with respect to the housing in a first retracted position in an advanced position and in a second retracted position.
