摘要: A method for estimating moment tensor components of a source can use a waveform based method that performs a stack function on projected data from each sensor. The method can produce a cumulative result for each moment tensor component, for each propagation phase at each image point and origin time. A system for use in imaging a subterranean region of interest can include instructions which operate on recorded actual seismic data output from seismic receivers having known positions, and at least one processor, whereby the instructions cause the processor to project a selected data sample from the seismic data onto a moment tensor component.

摘要: A connector for connecting an impeller to a shaft is provided. The connector is formed as a unitary body. The connector has a sleeve portion which is frictionally connected on a radially outer surface of a shaft-side hub extension of the impeller. The connector further has a threaded portion carrying a thread which screws onto a corresponding threaded portion of the shaft, such that the connector provides a rotationally fixed connection between the impeller and the shaft. The hub extension has a central recess, and a part of the connector is inserted into the recess. The frictional connection between the sleeve portion and the radially outer surface of the hub extension transmits, in use, substantially all of the torque between the shaft and the impeller.

摘要: A method for issuing Anonymous Public Key Certificates to Registered Persons in an electronic record system, where pointers for indexing the record system are stored within the Anonymous Public Key Certificates, and where associated Private Keys are controlled by smartcards or similar devices. Electronic records may be identifiably indexed when the smartcard has been activated by its holder correctly entering their secret pass-phrase, or anonymously indexed when only the value of a pointer is known. The only direct linkage between each Anonymous Public Key Certificate and the associated Registered Person is through the associated Private Key as controlled by a smartcard or similar device. Using this invention the retrieval of identifiable records pertaining to a given Registered Person from an electronic record system is normally only possible with the agency of the Person's smartcard or similar device, and therefore normally only possible with the Person's consent.

摘要: To improve security and simplify financial transactions in electronic communications environments, a cryptographic Private Key is securely stored in a storage device of a user. A Public Key Certificate corresponding to the Private Key is also created and can be stored in an online repository for merchant access. The Public Key Certificate identifies a payment card of the user, and is signed by or on behalf of a financial institution issuing the payment card. When initiating a payment card transaction with a merchant, a data item is signed using the Private Key. The signed data item and the Public Key Certificate are conveyed to the merchant, which enables the merchant to authenticate the transaction without needing to communicate with the user's financial institution, and while avoiding the inconvenience and privacy issues associated with obtaining other card details and user details.

摘要: A toeboard system includes toeboards of a cross section and an end configuration to assist in defining a locking corner connection of two toeboards at a scaffold upright. The system includes a toeboard clamp securable to a scaffold upright with projecting latch fingers for engaging two overlapped partially nested toeboards or two toeboards forming a generally perpendicular corner connection. 摘要: A catalyst for converting methanol to light olefins and the process for making and using the catalyst are disclosed and claimed. SAPO-34 is a specific catalyst that benefits from its preparation in accordance with this invention. A seed material is used in making the catalyst that has a higher content of the EL metal than is found in the principal part of the catalyst. The molecular sieve has predominantly a roughly rectangular parallelepiped morphology crystal structure with a lower fault density and a better selectivity for light olefins.
