    摘要: A seat belt retractor (10) has an actuator (14) for unlocking and locking the seat belt retractor (10). An inertial sensor (18) detects changes in vehicle acceleration and interacts with the actuator (14) to lock and unlock the seat belt retractor (10). The inertial sensor (18) has one inertial sensor mass, each mass (26, 27, 29, 30, 32, 33) has a wide portion (70) and a narrow portion (72). Preferably each inertial sensor mass (26, 27, 29, 30, 32, 33) has a high density body (31) embedded in the wide portion (70) of the elastomeric material (34). The inertial sensor mass (26, 27, 29, 36, 32, 33) has a greater density than the elastomeric material (34). Moreover, the elastomeric material (34) at least partially surrounds an exterior circumferential surface (38) of the inertial sensor mass (26, 27, 29, 30, 32, 33). The inertial sensor mass (26, 27, 29, 30, 32, 33) has a body (31) having the wide portion (70) and optionally the narrow portion (72) with preferably one or more elastomeric protruding member (54, 58) extending from said body (31). The one or more protruding members (55, 58) are movable relative to said body (31) and soften contact rattle impacts thus reducing noise.

The electric field is established between the ionizing mechanism and the electrode adjacent to the filter media. The electrode is also electrically-connected to ground and to the filter media for dissipating the negative charge of the particles entrapped within the filter media.

    摘要: A CPU cooling assembly includes a copper cold plate in which a pattern of ultra thin fins and channels are formed, and a copper manifold-cover in which a series of alternating inlet and outlet channels are formed, at right angles to the fin pattern. The manifold cover is sealed to the cold plate by a resistance welding technique that melts and closes up a perimeter welding seam just as the bottom edges of the manifold channels lightly engage the top edges of the micro fins. The result is a fully sealed assembly in which the channels and fins form an effective, very finely divided and regular checker board flow pattern for a suitable cooling fluid, with no deformation or clogging of the ultra thin flow channels.

    摘要: A portable air filtration system includes a filter housing having an air inlet and outlet. The housing defines a filtration chamber between the inlet and outlet. The air filtration system uses an intake fan, an ionizing mechanism, a filter media, and a conductive coating to filter air. The fan moves the air through the chamber. The ionizing mechanism ionizes particles within the air to a negative charge. The media includes an upstream side facing the inlet and a downstream side facing the outlet and is disposed between the ionizing mechanism and the outlet to entrap the particles. The conductive coating is applied to the upstream side of the media. This establishes an electric field between the ionizing mechanism and the conductive coating. Furthermore, the upstream side of the media is electrically-connected to ground through the conductive coating for dissipating the negative charge of the particles entrapped within the media.
