摘要： An envelope or package cutting system for cutting a material having a surface. The envelope cutting system includes a cutting unit and at least one template having the opening that is the shape of an unfolded envelope. The cutting unit includes a frame, a blade adjustment assembly and a blade assembly which are coupled to the frame. The blade assembly is positioned at least partially within the frame such that a longitudinal axis of the blade assembly is substantially perpendicular to a lower support surface of the frame. The blade assembly includes a blade retainer and a blade connected to the retainer. A rigid collar of the retainer is configured to operatively engage at least one of a periphery and the edge of the opening of the template thereby enabling the blade to cut a shape in the cutting material which assimilates the shape of an unfolded envelope.

摘要： A hand held rotary cutter comprising a first handle including a head at one end thereof for receiving a blade and a second handle pivotally connected to the first handle. The second handle includes a rotating member at one end thereof. The rotating member rotates into and out of alignment with the head of the first handle to guard the blade. A spring biases the first and second handles to an open position, and a latch is mounted on one of the first and second handles and movable between an unlocked position and a locked position. The latch is engageable with a member on the other of the first and second handles. When the latch is in the unlocked position, the first handle and the second handle are fixed in position relative to each other.

摘要： A shape cutting system for cutting a material having a surface. The shape cutting system includes a cutting unit and at least one template. The cutting unit includes a frame, a blade adjustment assembly and a blade assembly are coupled to the frame. The blade assembly is positioned at least partially within the frame such that a longitudinal axis of the blade assembly is substantially perpendicular to a lower support surface of the frame. The blade assembly includes a blade retainer and a blade connected to the retainer. The blade adjustment assembly is positioned on a neck which is rotatable relative to the frame. A user is capable of accessing and replacing the blade assembly without altering the position of the blade adjustment assembly relative to the neck.

An anchoring mechanism is positioned at least partially within the housing and is moveable between an engaged position in which the lockbox is attached to the surface and a disengaged position in which the lockbox is removable from the surface. The anchoring mechanism includes an anchoring mechanism lock which inhibits movement between the engaged position and the disengaged position.

摘要： A device for cutting pieces of material comprising a base, a bridge assembly and a lever arm. The bridge assembly includes a gear assembly operatively connected to the base. The lever arm is coupled to the gear assembly, and a linking member is coupled to the gear assembly; A material clamp is operatively connected to the linking member, and a cutting blade is operatively connected to the linking member. The movement of the lever arm of the first position towards the second position results in the gear assembly and the linking member cooperating to cause the material clamp to move towards the base and affix the position of pieces of material located between the base and the material clamp. The cutting blade comes into contact with and severs the pieces of material after the position of the pieces of material has been fixed by the material clamp.

摘要： A system is disclosed for use in connection with a conventional Otto or four cycle, multi-cylinder, internal combustion engine with the system being adapted to selectively disable half of the operating cylinders of the engine whereby substantial fuel economies can be realized. The present system is adapted to be used as an attachment on a conventional automotive engine and is equally applicable to four, six, and eight cylinder engines. The system disables selected cylinders by both inhibiting flow of fuel to the cylinder and disabling the exhaust valve in an open condition so that the disabled cylinder will, in effect, be free wheeling in that it does not use fuel or produce unused compression which must be overcome by the remaining cylinders.
