摘要: Technologies pertaining to computing depth images of a scene that includes a mobile object based upon the principle of light falloff are described herein. An infrared image of a scene that includes a mobile object is captured, wherein the infrared image has a plurality of pixels having a respective plurality of intensity values. A depth image for the scene is computed based at least in part upon square roots of respective intensity values in the infrared image.

摘要: Technologies pertaining to computing depth images of a scene that includes a mobile object based upon the principle of light falloff are described herein. 摘要: A human-machine interaction method, system and apparatus of the present invention enables a user to interact with an electronic device by turning the user's head to implement a mouse's point-and-click functionality. A main characteristic is to detect the user's head rotation (moving direction, displacement and nod/shake one's head action) following the direction of eye watching by adding an angular velocity sensor in an earphone, so as to realize a more natural and convenient human-machine interaction, where you are watching is where the cursor will point, look-and-nod instead of point-and-click with mouse. With the supports of the virtual keyboard on the screen of the electronic device, information can be inputted. Combined with the earphone microphone sound input, it can realize more complicated control combination with head movement input and sound input; making use of the earphone sound output as user output, user input and user output are integrated in one.

摘要: The invention provides a method for producing composite nanoparticles, the method using a first compound capable of transitioning from a monoclinic to a tetragonal rutile crystal state upon heating, and having the steps of subjecting the first compound to a hydrothermal synthesis to create anisotropic crystals of the compound; encapsulating the first compound with a second compound to create a core-shell construct; and annealing the construct as needed. Also provided is a device for continuously synthesizing composite nanoparticles, the device having a first precursor supply and a second precursor supply; a mixer to homogeneously combine the first precursor and second precursor to create a liquor; a first microreactor to subject the liquor to hydrothermic conditions to create an\isotropic particles in a continuous operation mode; and a second microreactor for coating the particles with a third precursor to create a core-shell construct.

摘要: In an optical fiber turnaround, first and second optical fiber cores are configured to transmit light bidirectionally along a transmission axis between proximal and distal ends of the first and second optical fiber cores. A reflector component is positioned at the distal ends of the first and second optical fiber cores. The first core, second core, and reflector component are configured to provide a bidirectional routing path, wherein light energy travels from the proximal end of one of the first and second cores towards the reflector component, and travels back from the reflector component along the other of the first and second cores.

摘要: Concepts and technologies are described herein for touch interactions with a drawing application. In accordance with the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, user devices can obtain drawing data generated by a web-based drawing application and can display a drawing by rendering the data in one or more UIs. The user device can interpret touch gestures at a touch sensitive display used to present the UIs and can interpret the touch gestures as corresponding to one or more commands for modifying the UIs. According to various embodiments, the user device can interpret the touch gestures by determining if the touch gestures intersect an object in the drawing and other behavior associated with the touch gesture such as movement, subsequent touches, and whether or not an object intersected was selected when the touch gesture was commenced.

摘要: A gardening box is disclosed. The gardening box may include a main body having a receiving space; a separation board having a plurality of through holes to secure water absorbing units and dividing said receiving space into an upper space and a bottom space; a plurality of observing holes located at a lower portion outside the main body; and a plurality of water absorbing unit secured at the separation board, and a lower portion of the water absorbing unit exposes at the bottom space to absorb water from the bottom space to moisturize soil and plants thereabove. Water level can be observed from the observing holes because the water level of the bottom space is identical to the observing holes according to the law of communicating vases.
