摘要: A construction board includes a foam body having first and second planar surfaces, said foam body including a polyisocyanurate foam matrix defining a plurality of closed cells, said closed cells being at least substantially devoid of hydrocarbon blowing agents, and said foam body being characterized by a density, pursuant to ASTM C303, of at least 2.5 lbs/ft3; and a facer disposed on a planar surface of said foam body, said facer including a glass substrate having an internal planar surface proximate to said foam body and an external planar surface opposite said foam body, a first coating disposed on said external surface, and a second coating disposed on or proximate to said internal surface, where said first coating disposed on said external surface includes an inert filler, and where said second coating disposed on or proximate to said internal surface includes intumescent material.

摘要: A heat treatable decorative patterned glass article ha a selectively dissolvable coating. The selectively dissolvable coating is a silicon based monolayer optical coating which is intended to be selectively dissolved in regions underlying a patterned enamel coating during a processing operation of the transparent substrate. The decorative patterned glass article provides excellent contrast to the glass when viewed from the glass side and can withstand the high tempering temperatures during the making of the decorative glass article.

Also described is a method of forming an enamel coating by depositing the enamel paste composition on a substrate; and firing the enamel paste to form an enamel coating on the substrate, the enamel coating having a heterogeneous frit microstructure with particles of the first frit embedded in a matrix of second frit.

摘要: A thermally conductive filler can exhibit high thermal conductive properties with a reduced specific gravity, a thermally-conductive composite material and a wire harness contains such a thermally conductive filler, and a method manufactures a thermally conductive filler. A thermally conductive filler contains base particles and a coating layer coating the particles, the coating layer contains a gel-like substance that is bonded to the surfaces of the base particles through chemical bonding and coats the surfaces of the base particles, and a thermally-conductive substance that is dispersed in the layer of the gel-like substance and has a higher thermal conductivity and a larger specific gravity than the base particles and the gel-like substance. Also, a thermally-conductive composite material is obtained by dispersing the thermally conductive filler in a matrix material. Furthermore, a wire harness contains the thermally-conductive composite material.

摘要: Compositions and methods for improved materials and material laminates with graphitic or inorganic/organic nanomaterials are presented. Graphitic or inorganic/organic nanomaterials, such as carbon nanotubes, carbon nanofibers, graphenes or graphene oxides, are introduced into an aqueous composition as fillers to provide a graphitic or inorganic/organic nanocomposite. Such composition may be used as laminates to improve adhesion between a film and a layer of material or between layers of materials and to increase not only strength properties, but also to provide other desired properties such as electronic properties, UV absorbing/blocking, optical-limiting, anti-reflective, fire-retardant, conducting, anti-microbial properties or pigmentation to say material. By tailoring the composite formulations with multiple graphitic or organic/inorganic nanomaterials, the resulting materials laminates become multifunctional and can be used for a variety of applications.

摘要: A glass article which has: a glass plate having a contour shape having an upper edge and a lower edge; a functional film formed on at least one of principal surfaces of the glass plate; and a holder having a recessed portion into which the lower edge of the glass plate is fitted, wherein the functional film has a first coverage area and a second coverage area, the second coverage area being formed in a manner to cover the principal surface, the first coverage area being formed on a lower side of the second coverage area, and a maximum film thickness of the first coverage area being smaller than a maximum film thickness of the second coverage area, and the holder is provided on a lower edge side of the glass plate, within the first coverage area of functional film, via an adhesive in the recessed portion.

摘要: An MgF2 optical thin film is formed on an optical surface of a base material. The MgF2 optical thin film includes MgF2 particles and an amorphous silicon oxide-based binder which exists on the surfaces of the MgF2 particles and between the MgF2 particles. Owing to this amorphous silicon oxide-based binder, the optical thin film can have high mechanical strength and high adhesion to the base material, while having excellent environment resistance and a lower refractive index.

The glass according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises the following components, in units of mol-%: V2O5 5-58 mol-%,Te02 40-90 mol-%, and at least one oxide selected from ZnO 38-52 mol-%, or Al2O3 1-25 mol %, or MoO3 1-10 mol-%, or WO3 1-10 mol-%, or a combination thereof.

摘要: Glass coating materials and methods are disclosed for the coating of glass substrates used in the manufacturer of photovoltaic solar modules such that the coating enhances the reliability of the module by reducing its susceptibility to potential induced degradation (PID). Coating materials are disclosed that reduce soiling on the front surface of the glass; that increase the surface resistivity of the glass and that repel moisture and that seal the surface from the ingress of moisture. Further electrically conductive coatings are disclosed that reduce the electric field between the front and back surfaces of the glass and hence reduce ion mobility within the glass and transport from the interior glass surface to the solar cell. There are additional configuration choices for fine tuning associated with separately optimizing the exterior and interior glass coating. Finally, coating processes and methods are disclosed for coating glass substrates with the disclosed materials.

摘要: In one embodiment, a hydrophilic member includes a substrate having a surface and particles existing at least on the surface of the substrate. The particles are constituted of at least one selected from tungsten oxide particles and tungsten oxide composite particles. The substrate surface on which the particles exist has an arithmetic mean roughness Ra in the range of 1 nm to 1000 nm with a reference length of 100 μm, and exhibits hydrophilicity independently of light.
