    摘要: An integrated magnetic power converter for supplying power to a load includes a continuous magnetic structure having first and second legs and a magnetic path therebetween. A primary winding is wound on the first leg. A first secondary winding is wound on the second leg and is connected to the load. A second secondary winding in series with the first secondary winding is wound on the first leg. A first circuit is connected to the primary winding for supplying energy to the power converter. A second circuit is connected to the secondary windings, and a third circuit is connected to the secondary windings for alternatively transferring energy to the load. When energy is supplied to the primary winding, a magnetic flux is produced in the magnetic path for transferring energy to the load via the first secondary winding and the third circuit, and an amount of energy is stored in the area surrounding the magnetic structure and the magnetic path. When energy supplied to the primary winding is removed, the stored energy induces a magnetic flux in the magnetic path and power is transferred to the load via the secondary windings and the second circuit.

    摘要: A control circuit for a power converter which includes a power transformer having a primary transformer winding for receiving an input voltage signal and a secondary transformer winding for generating an output signal provides control of the on and off time of the power transformer by utilizing a control transformer having a plurality of windings. A switch is provided which is coupled to the control transformer. The switch is conductive to render the power transformer on and when non-conducting renders the powder transformer off. Activacation of the switch is controlled through magnetic coupling between the windings of the control transformer to thereby render the output voltage of the power transformer constant while the switch on time remains constant and the switch off time is variable.

    摘要: A switching power supply has a power switching transistor furnishing a series of shaped pulses to output means for providing an output voltage, has control means including a voltage controlled oscillator responsive to the output voltage for providing control pulses whose frequency is representative of the output voltage level, and has saturable transformer means coupling the control pulses to the switching transistor for driving the transistor to regulate the output voltage within a selected range. First winding means on the saturable transformer drive the transformer to saturation with each control pulse and other winding means forward bias the switching transistor to conduct while the transformer is being driven to saturation and thereafter reverse bias the transistor to rapidly turn it off as the transformer recovers from saturation. The power supply includes means for varying transistor switching frequency and pulse width for regulating output voltage.

A first circuit is connected to the first winding for supplying energy to the first winding, such that when energy is supplied to the first winding, energy is transferred via the second and third windings to the load. A second circuit is connected to the fifth winding for supplying energy to the first circuit and for storing energy, the stored energy is supplied to the first winding for transfer to the load.

    摘要: A dc-to-dc power converter for delivering continuous and controlled power to a load includes first and second controllable switching devices having a junction therebetween. Each of the first and second controllable switching devices include a parasitic gate to source capacitance, parasitic gate to drain capacitance, output capacitance and an intrinsic diode. First and second power supplies have a junction therebetween. A power transformer has a primary winding, a secondary winding and inductance in series with the primary winding. The secondary winding is connected to a rectifying circuit connected to the load to supply a controllable current to the load. The primary winding is connected between the junction between the first and second controllable switching devices and the junction between the first and second power supplies. A first drive circuit is connected to the first controllable switching device. A second drive circuit is connected to the second controllable switching device. A drive transformer has a primary winding and first and second secondary windings. The first secondary winding is connected to the first drive circuit, and the second secondary winding is connected to the second drive circuit. A control circuit is connected to the drive transformer primary winding for alternately actuating and deactuating the first and second drive circuits. The first and second controllable switching devices continuously deliver controllable power to the load.
