Abstract: A distributed antenna system (DAS) having a communication component management system is provided that includes at least one communication component, at least one building sensor and at least one controller. The at least one communication component is used to establish a communication link between user equipment within an area of a building and the DAS. The at least one building sensor is located to sense environmental conditions within the building as part of a building control management system. The at least one controller is in communication with the at least one communication component. The at least one controller is further communicatively coupled to receive sensor data from the at least one building sensor. The at least one controller is configured to selectively change an operation state of the at least one communication component based at least in part on received sensor data from the at least one building sensor.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a RF signal repeater switchable between SISO and MIMO comprises: a controller; a first transmitter path switchably coupled to first donor and coverage antennas; a second transmitter path switchably coupled to second donor and coverage antennas; a first receiver path switchably coupled to the first donor and coverage antennas; a second receiver path switchably coupled to the second donor and coverage antennas. The controller configures the repeater for a MIMO TDD operating mode by: configuring the first transmitter path and the second receiver path to repeat at least a first MIMO channel of UE uplink RF signals and at least a first MIMO channel of base station downlink RF signals; and configuring the second transmitter path and the first receiver path to repeat at least a second MIMO channel of UE uplink RF signals and at least a second MIMO channel of base station downlink RF signals.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a multi-transceiver RF signal processing system comprises: a controller; a DPD core and CFR engine; and a plurality of transceiver paths comprising at least a first transceiver path for a first frequency block, and a second transceiver path for a second frequency block. The first frequency block is adjacent to the second frequency block. Signal processing outputs a stream of digital RF based on wireless RF signals received into the first and second transceiver paths. Signal processing inputs a first stream of digital RF and outputs a first digital RF signal corresponding to the first frequency block to the first transceiver path, and outputs a second digital RF signal corresponding to the second frequency block to the second transceiver path for wireless transmission via the at least one antenna. The DPD core applies a distortion that covers the first and second frequency blocks.
