Abstract: The tire has a carcass reinforcement which has at least one layer and a crown reinforcement that is capped radially by a tread. The tire also includes a layer P of polymer compounds in contact with at least one working crown layer and in contact with the carcass reinforcement. The elastomer compounds forming the calendering layer, radially outermost with respect to the crown of the tire, of the carcass reinforcement layer have a relative density of sulfur bridges of less than 5%. The elastomer compounds forming the layer P have a relative density of sulfur bridges of less than 5%. The elastomer compounds are compositions based on at least one diene elastomer selected from the group of polybutadienes (BRs), synthetic polyisoprenes (IRs), natural rubber (NR), isoprene copolymers, butadiene copolymers with the exception of butadiene-nitrile copolymers (NBRs), apart from diene elastomers bearing carboxyl functions, and mixtures of these diene elastomers.

Abstract: The tire includes a summit surrounded by side portions terminating in beads provided to cooperate with a mounting rim. A carcass reinforcement is surmounted by a summit reinforcement composed of reinforcing plies. When the tire is mounted onto its standard mounting rim and inflated with its nominal pressure, each side portion has an upper side point, a bottom side point, an intermediate side point, an upper side portion, and a bottom side portion. A weight of the bottom side portion on one side portion is at least 15% lighter than a weight of the bottom side portion on another side portion.

Abstract: A tire having a contact face of a width TW is provided. The contact face is intended to come into contact with ground during rolling. The tread is provided with at least one groove of a depth D provided with a wear indicating means that extends generally in a circumferential orientation and opens to the contact face. The tread comprises a center region and a pair of shoulder regions that are positioned on two axial sides of the center region. The shoulder regions each comprise a shoulder rubber layer of a thickness ts made of a shoulder rubber composition different from a rubber composition constituting the tread. A shear storage modulus G′ of the shoulder rubber composition measured at 23° C., 10 Hz and 10% of strain is less than or equal to 1.0 MPa.

Abstract: The rolling assembly has a rotation axis and a rim having rim seats and flanges, an adapter and a tire having beads. The adapter provides the connection between one of the beads and the rim. The rim comprises a portion of a width W extending outwardly from the flange and a connecting introduction portion and a body. The portion creates a virtual straight line GD between an innermost of the connecting introduction portion and the point A. The portion and the adapter has a radial distance d at the point A. The body has a maximum radial distance e from the virtual straight line GD at axially inward from the point A, and the body has no contact with the adapter.
