Abstract: The present application discloses a method for inspecting a battery tab, the method including: obtaining a sectional view of a plurality of layers of tabs of a battery; identifying and analyzing the sectional view to obtain a plurality of connected domains, where each connected domain includes one tab or a plurality of tabs that are bonded with each other; determining, based on positions and a number of intersection points of tab bonding in each connected domain, a number of layers of tabs corresponding to the connected domain; calculating a total number of layers of the plurality of layers of tabs in the sectional view based on the number of layers of tabs corresponding to the connected domain; and determining, based on the total number of layers of tabs and a preset real number of layers of tabs, whether the plurality of layers of tabs are folded.

Abstract: A top cover assembly for secondary battery, including: first and second electrode terminals; a top cover plate insulated from the first electrode terminal and electrically connected with the second electrode terminal; a contact piece attached to the top cover plate; and a thermo-deformable piece opposite to the contact piece, one end being electrically connected with the first electrode terminal, the other end being a free end; when a temperature at which the thermo-deformable piece deforms is not reached and internal pressure of the secondary battery exceeds a reference pressure, the contact piece deforms to be electrically connected with the thermo-deformable piece so that the first electrode terminal is electrically connected with the second electrode terminal, and when the temperature at which the thermo-deformable piece deforms is reached, the free end deforms away from the contact piece, and the thermo-deformable piece is kept insulated from the contact piece.

Abstract: The present application provides a secondary battery including a first terminal component, a second terminal component, a cap plate, an electrode component and a resistance element. One of the first and second terminal components is electrically connected to the cap plate through the resistance element, while the other is insulated from the cap plate. The first terminal component includes a connecting plate and a turnable plate, and the connecting plate is attached to the turnable plate. When the secondary battery is in a normal state, a first electrode plate is electrically connected to the connecting plate through the turnable plate, and the second electrode plate is electrically connected to the second terminal component. When a pressure inside the secondary battery exceeds a reference pressure, the turnable plate can turn over to cut off an electrical connection between the turnable plate and the first electrode plate.
