    Abstract: The disclosure relates to medical devices and methods of assembling medical devices, such as MRI-compatible interventional wireguides. An example of a wireguide includes a series of individual segments, a plurality of connectors, and a plurality of spacers. Each segment in the series of individual segments has a first end and a second end. Each connector of the plurality of connectors joins adjacent segments in the series of individual segments to one another such that a first end of a first segment and a second end of a second segment in the series of individual segments are attached to a connector of the plurality of connectors. A spacer of the plurality of spacers is disposed between each pair of adjacent segments in the series of individual segments. Each of the segments in the series of individual segments is electrically insulated from an adjacent segment in the series of individual segments.

    Abstract: The present embodiments provide a stent comprising a proximal segment having a zig-zag portion, which comprises a plurality of proximal and distal apices separated by a plurality of angled strut segments. A distal segment may comprise a connection strut, where the connection strut comprises a bent segment extending between adjacent distal apices of the zig-zag portion. The stent may comprise at least one diamond-shaped closed cell, which is bounded proximally by first and second angled strut segments of the zig-zag portion meeting at a first proximal apex of the zig-zag portion, and further bounded distally by the connection strut having the bent segment. At least one distal open region may be located distally beneath a second proximal apex of the zig-zag portion that is adjacent to the first proximal apex of the zig-zag portion. The at least one diamond-shaped closed cell may comprise an asymmetric shape.

    Abstract: The present disclosure describes filter devices for deployment to body vessels where clots or emboli may need to be captured, particularly the vena cava. The filter device is of unitary construction, having been cut from a substantially planar sheet of a metal, in some instances a shape memory metal. The device has a construction including a plurality of petals, the petals containing an inner rib which curves in the deployed state. A method of making a filter device is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A stent-graft comprises a substantially tubular graft material, and a stent coupled to the graft material. The stent has proximal and distal ends and further has compressed and deployed states. The proximal end is disposed proximally beyond a proximal edge of the graft material, and the distal end has at least one portion overlapping with the proximal edge of the graft material. In one example, the stent comprises at least one distal apex having a bifurcation extending into first and second leg regions. A distal end of the first leg region is positioned to overlap the graft material at a location circumferentially spaced apart from a location at which a distal end of the second leg region overlaps the graft material in the deployed state.
