    摘要: A vortex ring generation device includes a casing having a discharge port, an extrusion mechanism, and a component supply port. The extrusion mechanism extrudes air in an air passage inside the casing such that the air is discharged, in a vortex ring shape, from the discharge port. The component supply port surrounds the air passage. A total circumferential length of the component supply port is ½ or more of a total circumferential length of the discharge port. The extrusion mechanism includes a vibration plate and a drive unit that vibrates the vibration plate. The air passage includes a first passage, and a throttle passage continuous with a downstream end of the first passage. A component chamber is provided inside the casing. The component chamber contains a discharge component to be supplied to the component supply port. The component supply port is located downstream of the throttle passage.

    摘要: This indoor unit of an air conditioner includes an indoor unit main body having an inlet and an outlet; a heat exchanger; and a cross-flow fan configured to blow out air, which has undergone heat exchange by the heat exchanger. The cross-flow fan has a blow-out flow path that is configured such that a cross-sectional area gradually increases downward, with the blow-out flow path guiding blown-out air to the outlet. When a distance in the lower wall from an intersection, where a tangent inscribing a tongue of the cross-flow fan orthogonally intersects the lower wall, to a lower end of the indoor unit main body is referred to as distance L, a ratio (L/D) of the distance L to outer diameter D of an impeller of the cross-flow fan is less than 0.05. At least part of the blow-out flow path is formed to project out of the outlet at least when air conditioning operation is performed.

    摘要: A blade of a cross-flow fan including leading and trailing edge portions arranged on inner and outer peripheral sides of the cross-flow, and a base portion formed between the edge portions. The edge portions are arc shaped. The base portion has a pressure surface and a suction surface. A radius of the leading-edge portion is greater than a radius of the trailing-edge portion. A maximum thickness is at a position of maximum thickness that is closer to the leading-edge portion than to the trailing-edge portion. A first thickness is at midpoint of a blade chord. A second thickness is at a position set apart from an outer-peripheral end of the blade chord by 5% of the chord length. A value obtained by dividing the first thickness by the maximum thickness that is greater than a value obtained by dividing the second thickness by the first thickness.
