Abstract: Each of permanent magnets includes a magnet body formed across the radial direction of a rotor core, and a pair of magnet end parts bending toward the outer peripheral side of the magnet body and extending respectively from both ends of the magnet body in the peripheral direction toward the outer edge of the rotor core. Magnetization directions of the magnet end parts and a magnetic pole center line intersect with each other on the outer peripheral side of the magnet body. The inclination angle of each magnetization direction of the magnet end parts with respect to the magnetic pole center line is greater than the inclination angle of a magnetization direction of the magnet body with respect to the magnetic pole center line.

Abstract: A rotor core has magnet holes penetrating the rotor core in an axial direction. A first end plate is provided for one end side of the rotor core in the axial direction, and has gate holes communicating with the magnet holes. The magnet holes and the gate holes are filled with bond magnets. Each gate hole is formed to be smaller than the corresponding magnet hole and is positioned inside the magnet hole when viewed in plan.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for manufacturing a rotor, the method including an injection process of injecting a bonded magnet material into a cavity of a molding die generating a magnetic field in the cavity so that the bonded magnet material is poured into each of the magnet slots in the rotor core set in the cavity through one of openings of each magnet slot, wherein the molding die used in the injection process has gates which respectively open at positions corresponding to regions, each of which ensures a view from the one of openings to the other opening of the magnet slot along an axial center of the rotor core.

Abstract: A technique by which the magnetic flux of the magnetic pole facing the stator of the magnet can be further increased in a rotor, is provided. An electric motor according to the present disclosure includes a stator 10; a rotor 20 facing the stator 10 in an axial direction (first direction) and configured to be rotatable in a circumferential direction (second direction) that is orthogonal to the axial direction; and a short-circuit reduction member 25, 26, wherein the rotor 20 includes a main magnet 22 having a first magnetic pole on a surface facing the stator 10; an auxiliary magnet 23, 24 arranged adjacent to the main magnet 22 and having a second magnetic pole and a third magnetic pole that is different in polarity from the second magnetic pole, and configured to increase a magnetic flux of the first magnetic pole, and wherein the auxiliary magnet 23, 24 is arranged adjacent to the main magnet 22 in a radial direction (third direction) that is orthogonal to the axial direction, and the short-circuit reduction member 25, 26 is provided at a portion around the auxiliary magnet 23, 24 facing the auxiliary magnet 23, 24 in parallel with a virtual line connecting the second magnetic pole and the third magnetic pole, to reduce a short-circuit of a magnetic flux between the second magnetic pole and the third magnetic pole.

Abstract: Techniques to reduce the d-axis inductance in a rotor are provided. According to one embodiment in the present disclosure, a rotor 20 includes permanent magnets 22 and 23 housed in magnet slots different from each other formed in an iron core 21, and arranged in series magnetically; and a flux barrier (cavity 24) provided to be close to an end in a direction orthogonal to a direction of a main magnetic flux, for each of the permanent magnets 22 and 23 arranged in series magnetically. Two instances of the flux barrier corresponding to the respective permanent magnets 22 and 23 arranged in series magnetically, communicate with each other. According to another embodiment in the present disclosure, a motor 1 includes the rotor 20 described above.

Abstract: A rotor includes a rotor core and a bond magnet. The rotor core has core blocks and a partition core sandwiched between the core blocks in an axial direction. Magnet holes pass through the core blocks and the partition core in the axial direction, respectively, and the magnet hole is communicated with the magnet holes. Positions of the magnet holes in a circumferential direction are deviated from each other. The bond magnet fills the magnet holes.
