    Abstract: A pedal pad in an organ-type pedal device swings about a predetermined axis when stepped on by a driver's foot. A sensor unit outputs a signal corresponding to a swing angle of the pedal pad. A reaction force generation mechanism has an elastic member that generates a reaction force against a driver's pedaling force applied to the pedal pad. A first housing covers the reaction force generation mechanism, and an opening at least on one side. A second housing is provided on one side of the first housing in a swing direction of the pedal pad. Further, the first housing has a largest opening on a second housing side, which is closed by the second housing and into which the elastic member of the reaction force generation mechanism in a non-bending state is insertable.

    Abstract: An actuator is configured to drive a boost pressure control valve of a supercharger. The actuator includes: an electric motor; an output shaft; and a speed reducer that is configured to transmit rotation, which is outputted from the electric motor, to the output shaft after reducing a speed of the rotation outputted from the electric motor. The speed reducer has a plurality of gears that include an output gear joined to the output shaft. The plurality of gears further includes a metal gear and a resin gear of a compound gear, which are respectively formed as a large diameter gear and a small diameter gear and are integrated together in one piece. The output gear is a resin gear.

    Abstract: An accelerator device includes a pedal lever, a reaction force adjuster and a controller. The pedal lever operates according to a stepping operation. The reaction force adjuster is driven by an actuator, and is capable of adjusting a reaction force that is a force in a direction of pushing back the pedal lever. The controller includes a target operation amount setting unit and a drive control unit. The target operation amount setting unit sets a target operation amount, which is an operation amount of the pedal lever according to a vehicle speed. The drive control unit controls a drive of the actuator. The controller controls the reaction force according to the target operation amount so that the operation amount of the pedal lever is within a target range when switching from an automatic drive to a manual drive.

    Abstract: An actuator includes an electric motor, an output shaft and an output lever. The output lever is fixed to one end portion of the output shaft, which is located at an outside of a housing. The output lever includes a cylindrical hole, through which a cylindrical portion of the output shaft is received, and a cutout, which is radially outwardly recessed from the cylindrical hole. A part of an inner wall surface of the cutout, which is connected to an inner wall surface of the cylindrical hole, is defined as a root corner. The root corner is shaped in a convex curved surface form in a view taken in an axial direction of the cylindrical hole.

The stopper is arranged outside the housing, to swing about the axis together with the pedal while being supported by the pedal, and to stop the pedal by coming into contact with the housing in a non-pedaled state in which the pedal is not pedaled by the user.

The reaction force generation mechanism is arranged in a space on the side opposite to a surface stepped on by a driver in the pedal pad to generate a reaction force against a pedaling force applied to the pedal pad by the driver.

    Abstract: An output gear includes a fixing portion, which is joined to a surface-processed portion of an output shaft, and a connecting portion that connects between a toothed portion of the output gear and the fixing portion.     Abstract: In a valve drive apparatus, which drives a first valve and a second valve of a supercharger, a first rod is rotatably connected to a first valve lever shaft at one end part thereof to drive the first valve and is connected to a shaft at the other end part thereof, and a second rod is rotatably connected to a second valve lever shaft at one end part thereof to drive the second valve and is connected to a second member at the other end part thereof. A spring is placed between a first engaging part of the first member and a second engaging part of the second member and urges the first member and the second member to urge a first contact part of the first member and a second contact part of the second member toward each other.
