Abstract: A rotating electric machine includes a stator core, multi-phase stator coils and a rotor. The stator core has teeth and slots. Abstract: A stator core is a stack body of plural plates. Each plate includes an annular back yoke part, plural top-connected tooth parts, plural top-separated tooth parts, plural magnetic path parts and plural top open parts. Abstract: A servo controller calculates a base assist command so that a steering torque follows a target steering torque. An estimated load torque calculation section calculates an estimated load torque based on a target steering torque and a base assist command. A target steering torque calculation section calculates a target steering torque using a map that defines a relationship between the estimated load torque and the target steering torque. The servo controller has a low-pass filter for removing high-frequency components of a predetermined frequency or higher in the input target steering torque at least in a differential control calculation, and calculates a differential control amount according to a steering torque deviation between the target steering torque after the low-pass filter and the steering torque.

Abstract: A drive device includes a shaft rotatably supported by a first bearing and a second bearing. The first bearing is disposed in a shaft hole of an output frame end. The second bearing is disposed in a bearing box of an opposite-to-output frame end. An oil seal is fixed in the shaft hole and is closer to an output end than the first bearing is, and is in sliding contact with an outer circumference of the shaft. A biasing member is housed in the bearing box and biases an outer race of the second bearing toward the output end. Accordingly, a deflection amount and a bend amount of the shaft at the location where the oil seal is disposed may be reduced.
