摘要: A rotational position sensing apparatus includes a rotational position sensing magnet and a fixing member. The fixing member is made of a non-magnetic material and is fixed to a rotatable shaft of a rotor. The fixing member includes a plurality of projections, which radially inwardly project and are arranged one after another in a circumferential direction at an inner peripheral surface of a first peripheral wall portion within a space, which is defined by the first peripheral wall portion and a bottom wall portion and holds the rotational position sensing magnet.

摘要: A drive device includes a shaft rotatably supported by a first bearing and a second bearing. The first bearing is disposed in a shaft hole of an output frame end. The second bearing is disposed in a bearing box of an opposite-to-output frame end. An oil seal is fixed in the shaft hole and is closer to an output end than the first bearing is, and is in sliding contact with an outer circumference of the shaft. A biasing member is housed in the bearing box and biases an outer race of the second bearing toward the output end. Accordingly, a deflection amount and a bend amount of the shaft at the location where the oil seal is disposed may be reduced.

摘要: A map information assessment device has a processor configured to match a plurality of first zones representing a first road in a first map, with second zones representing a second road in a second map, the matching being made by using locations on the second road that are closest to the starting points of the first zones as the starting points, and using zones having the same lengths as the first zones, as the second zones corresponding to the first zones, to calculate zone adjacent distances between the end points of the second zones and the starting points of other second zones adjacent to those second zones, and to determine that positional information for the first road in a first zone is different from positional information for the second road in a second zone corresponding to that first zone, when the zone adjacent distance is greater than a threshold.

摘要: A vehicle controller includes a memory configured to store map information including information on a predetermined area used in autonomous driving control of a vehicle; and a processor configured to: refer to the map information to identify an autonomous-driving practicable point at which a planned travel route from the current position of the vehicle outside the predetermined area to a destination of the vehicle enters the predetermined area, calculate a manual-driving section length from the current position of the vehicle to the autonomous-driving practicable point along the planned travel route, and notify the calculated manual-driving section length to a driver of the vehicle via a notification device provided in the interior of the vehicle.
